I saw huge “PRIDE” stickers all over the outside of the train yesterday.

Why are no other group of people as obsessed over? How about sharing your plans to improve services for disabled people? Oh nevermind, they don't matter. Let's share now great we are to people who celebrate pride....

Its so beyond weird how so many companies use up so much marketing budget on obsessing over this echo chamber of LGBTQ+ people, trying to pander to them and seem inclusive when their train services for disabled people are so abysmal that often people in wheelchairs aren't even remembered at the station for a ramp.

A few days later and Sunak hasn’t needed to “apologise” for anything said earlier this week, nor has he needed to resign, nor has the world stopped spinning on its axis.

Weird, because I’m sure Twitter, The Green Party and most of the Labour Party were insistent that he was absolutely finished and morally bankrupt. Could it be that the vast majority of the population, even if they despise this Tory government, know what a woman is? Could it be that threats of cancellation don’t work so well on men in power as they do on women in more minor roles in academia? A bit of both… but let this be a lesson both to the gender identity cancellation warriors and anyone with a bit of power who thinks they need to be heeded.

They do not. Time to turn the tide on this one and get back to sanity.

People are so SICK and TIRED of being called transphobic, India is most definitely harming the cause of trans people. He is insufferable. As women we experience sexism and misogyny on a daily basis. Even men that I like and respect regularly mansplain to me. What I don’t do is go around screaming SEXISM! In everyone’s face who I feel is guilty of that that because as an actual woman, unfortunately that is just reality. India, having spent most of his life as Jonathan, is now shocked that now that he pretends he’s woman, he’s not getting the respect he just automatically received when he was plain old Jonathan. His male entitlement is so bloody strong. In the end he shows himself for the hateful, misogynist, entitled male that he is, every single day on Twitter. He could never handle being an actual woman, not for one second.

It’s sinister that there’s so much emphasis on pushing this on children. As an adult, I loathe drag and all those grotesque (IMO)looking people would have terrified me as a child. An adult wanting to perform drag to a child in my opinion is a creepy weirdo, and people who accept it are being naive at best. There also seems to be such a push to capture children early. Then there’s the “no discussion” aspect of it, it’s bullying confused young people into going down an irreversible pathway.
I absolutely loathe that that fucking progress flag with a passion. As a gender critical woman, I find it offensive and hateful. I don’t like flags representing any ideology pushed everywhere, reminds me too much of Nazi regimes, but to me, it says if you are a biological woman, shut up or fuck off, you don’t matter.

I know there needs to be an age limit for when older kids must start using changing facilities for their own sex (I do wonder if 8 is a little young but that’s a different discussion) however I find it interesting that organisations are happy to ban 9 year old boys from female changing rooms with their mother but it would be a different story if it was a grown man on his own wanting to change with females.

I’m not sure if I’d be happy sending a 9 year old boy into the men’s changing room by himself.

I'm over 60 and now pretty much invisible.
I hate it because nobody is interested in anything I say or do anymore.

I work for a useless much younger middle manager promoted way above his capabilities. I question some of his decisions, make suggestions on how things could be done better and he ignores me.

A few months later he'll make my suggestion to one of his superiors and get praised. My ideas are obviously only worth something when they come out of the mouth of a man.

My long work experience and general knowledge counts for nothing.
Fuck them all.

I had the same problem, a manager who was much less experienced, younger than me and totally useless (nepotism got him the job) I was the only woman in a team of scientists. Not sure if anyone else here has experienced this but the male scientist ego is a veeeery specific and infuriating thing.
Eventually, I'd ask the (nice) men in the team to suggest my ideas to him or they'd all back me up if i was brave enough to say it myself... strangely he'd listen then...

He was actually the reason, indirectly, for my peaking!
He was a classic bully. I drew the short straw and sat next to him in the office, he'd appear in the lab to harass us, the long story is off topic but it really was relentless and damaging.
I was the easiest target as the woman, when the blokes stood up to him he'd shit himself and back down somewhat.
We were moving to a new building where the plan was unisex toilets. I panicked knowing that was the only place I had some respite from him. Led my previous "live and let live, accept everyone" thinking to the importance of privacy and safety in women's spaces across the board. Now here I am... Hi TERFS
Unisex toilets never happened, hurrah!

Had an email yesterday from HMCTS which had the sender's pronouns in the display name. As in, it appeared in my inbox as "Jane Smith | she/her"

No, it's a gesture of subjection. It's a reminder of the institutional influence of the transactivists and that they can force you to believe that the bloke in a wig is a woman as a vulgar display of power.

My employer has a dedicated EDI team now - they have to justify their jobs, so they keep persuing the low hanging fruit to look busy and tick those boxes.

Just to say, not all EDI groups are in thrall to the ideology. But it does help if you have at least one hideous TERF on board. I am that hideous TERF and my most recent endeavour is to borrow a wheelchair and crutches to allow members of the group to discover just how difficult it is to negotiate our Victorian building. We need people to join their workplace EDI groups to push things like disability, issues that affect women and race issues. For too long a minority have been allowed to push the agenda that suits them, we now need to get involved and reframe the narrative. Too much of this has been done behind closed doors on the QT and that's how we've got here - by people not getting involved, mostly because they can't be arsed.

If you walk into a ladies toilet with a young boy (I’d say up to 10) and say that you don’t want him going to the men’s alone - there is not a woman who would object - I’m certain. No one wants vulnerable children to be in the men’s bathroom.

It’s strange that she could identify them as trans I thought you could never tell. Secondly it’s almost as if people don’t have a problem with them going about their day they just don’t want them in women’s toilets and changing rooms.

Also it’s quite amusing that a young woman would be ‘ready to to war’ to defend what I would guess are two middle aged men in dresses absolute joke.

On my neighbourhood NextDoor app, a few months ago a young girl advertised a Go-Fund me for 'top surgery'. She raised about £1500. She posted again today saying that she's now had the surgery and thanking everyone who donated. She was asking for people to continue to donate if they can to help her get through her recovery.

There's a picture of her on her page - she obviously still doesn't look male at all. I just can't stop thinking of this poor young person mutilating herself for no good reason.

So sad that people actually coughed up to enable this! I absolutely hate it when they call it “top surgery”. It’s a double mastectomy and it’s brutal. It’s an insult to any woman who has had to undergo breast surgery to stay alive. Losing your breasts doesn’t make you any less of a woman, whether it’s your choice or not.
