This is the thing. Do we actually know for certain that she isn't inviting these people? There does sometimes feel something slightly off about Posie Parker. I don't think she's whiter than white.
What would she gain from inviting them? What would her motivation be?

Don't you think it's far more likely that, if they were invited by anyone, it's going to be the side that has been screaming Nazi at us and accusing us of being aligned with, who claim these events are funded by the far right for years?

Don't you think the behaviour since then "SEE! SEE! WE TOLD YOU ITS LITERAL NAZIS THAT SUPPORT THEM" as opposed to KJK who matter of factly answered questions without screaming accusations shows who exactly had the motivation to set this up.

Anyone wondering about the neo-Nazis and KJK, I mentioned this in a previous thread but it bears repeating. The men (they are all men) who turned up at The Melbourne Let Women Speak were there to further their own cause.
I know who some of those guys are and they turn up to all sorts of events purely to stir tit and cause trouble. They're misogynistic by nature, believing that women cook, clean, birth white babies and stay quiet while the man does his man things.
Someone with KJK's beliefs would absolutely NOT invite these bleeps along.

Urgh! I was going to give BB a go on catch up, but knowing there's a "brave" trans in there means it's a no from me. I'm just SICK of hearing how brave they all are, navigating a life that's been So Hard.

Oh and sorry, not sorry, but a trans les is a STRAIGHT MAN. You know, those most oppressed of all folx.

Whilst it doesn't really bother me I'm hoping it'll be just a one-off she's told everyone and now it won't be mentioned again repeatedly.

Data from the most recent census indicates that 0.5% (or less) of the population are trans, so why are transwomen featured disproportionately in a lot of these reality programmes? Has there ever been a transman in anything (apart from documentaries)? Even in their trans status, females are overlooked in favour of males.

What I found really sad is that Hallie was saying I started private HRT bought by my mum at 16 and I've never had a boyfriend, and if I win I'm going to buy a designer vaginas for £30k.

It makes me feel so sad and angry to see what in most cases will be yet another child failed by either Stonewall and Mermaids stupid bleeping rigid stereotype box system or by internalised homophobia. A waste of a normal healthy life for some mythical reality.

I feel sorry for Ella (MAFS) too all those years thinking only of transition and now they don't have a clue who they are.

Being trans shouldn't be your entire identity.

Exactly. I'm amazed that the only acceptable reaction to hearing a man is going to have his pen inverted to create a hairy wind sock costing thousands is blind adoration.

I think gender dysphoria is a mental illness and much like we're seeing with other mental illnesses they're being glamourised, romanticed and normalised. People build their whole identity off of the fact that they're mentally ill and develop no personality outside of their mental illness. It seems to be a growing trend with the youth to identify heavily with mental illness and with that, I don't just mean depression and anxiety. We've seen a huge growth in transgender youth, kids faking having tourettes, DID, borderline personality disorder and probably others too. It's a worrying trend for sure. There's going to be a lot of kids growing up confused.

I think you're right in that transition being the ultimate goal, identity, and fixation leads to these young people not developing a real sense of self. I think the issue as well is that there is no treatment more effective than gender reassignment surgeries for gender dysphoria. If I had the choice to alleviate my mental health symptoms I'd take it, so I don't blame trans youth for trying to alleviate the symptoms of their mental illness.

And I really don't care that it's not classed as a mental illness anymore. If your brain is not aligning with the body you were born in then how is that not mental? Idk if it's just me but gender dysphoria should be re-classified as a mental illness, it doesn't make any sense to me that it's not.

“I have a female mind” WTF is a female mind??? Have I had a female mind all these years and this is me just finding out? IS THIS WHY I CAN’T READ MAPS!
Seriously though he can duck off with his designer fan.
He’s just a gay child who was transed by his mother. I’m sure he’d be a happy and contented gay man if he’d been left alone to get through puberty without having his impressionable mind warped with “born in the wrong body” discourse.

KJK is abrasive and doesn’t try to be nice all the time. She is also making money from her merch which people don’t like. (Whereas I found it interesting that the eye of sauron progress flag can only be used under licence and is making the ‘owner’ a fortune)

I understand why academic feminists find her hard to take as a figurehead because she isn’t as educated as them, she hasn’t been writing feminism discourse for years (and not selling books), but then she doesn’t have the same position to protect and she has risked her safety and has been threatened. She will shout when other people write articles.
Abrasive might be the word I’m looking for. Figureheads aren’t supposed to be abrasive, but there is KJK not giving a duck and that’s confronting. But refreshing too. But you know what? There’s something so comfortable and familiar about KJK. I would feel more relaxed at one of her events as opposed to the academic feminists (who I now feel completely alienated from) looking down their noses at any woman who doesn’t fit there criteria - be it political affiliation, education level, or social class. The irony being I’m educated to Masters level, which in the real world amounts to sweet FA 😉

Just seen on the BBC that noted woman-hater Adam Kay who used surrogates to have two babies four months apart is complaining that parenting is hard.

He is an odious wick. So him and his husband decided to hedge their bets and rent two women’s bodies at the same time for no other reason than… they could afford to?

You reap what you sow Adam. You chose to have two babies unnaturally close together. Newsflash: raising two infants simultaneously is a lot harder than one! Surely you would have met plenty of twins during your time in Obstetrics? Or did you hate being a doctor so much, absolutely every mother and every baby was an irrelevance to you?

The answer to that question would, of course, be "yes, yes I do hate women, in fact I hate them enough to be a doctor who writes and performs songs mocking mothers of babies with Downs Syndrome".

I watched it and actually felt incredibly sorry for Hallie. 16 years of age and already on HRT, with a life ambition to “buy a tina” at 18. He comes across as very kind to the other housemates and I also agree with you he’s been manipulated 😞

duck me, I knew his songs were kind of offensive, but there’s offensive, then there’s this, which is mocking mothers who have to terminate very wanted babies due to foetal abnormalities.

How would you feel about a termination
I doubt he'll live past 10 years old
Check out his epicanthic folds and his single palmar crease
A bit of a gong your baby
Your baby's got trisom, it's what he will die from,
Your baby's got trisomy.

I’ve only seen clips on Twitter and what I’ve read elsewhere, but looking at photos of him as a young teen, seems he was on the trans path from an early age. Poor kid.

Actually this has really got to me. These lyrics can be construed as a disability hate crime and yet this absolute wanker is platformed on mainstream tele on programmes like This Morning etc. No sign of him being cancelled for his take on people with disabilities, who it seems are fair game for mocking and are often not in a position to defend themselves. It’s so clear that some types of so-called protected characteristics under the EA are more equal than others.
