As a parent I'm feeling really annoyed lately that my kids are getting gaslighted into complying with all this pro trans crap. My daughter is 9 and there's a certain group of kids that are all allowed on TikTok and have no parental supervision over what they view. My daughter doesn't even have a phone so shes picked on for that anyway. The other day a group of kids were arguing with my daughter that a man could be pregnant. They were laughing at her saying she's so thick and didn't understand anything. These kids are saying they're non binary as well. Its just so frustrating. When she comes home and asks me Im like you're right a man can't get pregnant. Its a biological woman who is living life as a man. I am straight up with my kids about the truth and facts. These kids are also viewing porn on their phones and talking about threesomes and making sexual noises in the playground 😳 I've phoned school and they didn't seem to concerned at all! To me it's a safeguarding issue these kids aren't been supervised at home. Honestly feel like I'm banging my head against a wall, I'm the minority that doesn't let my kid have a phone and these brainwashing apps. Children are getting their brains warped. God help them when they are actually teenagers at high school. Im sure they will all have 'mental health issues'.

In the Boob or Bust group on Facebook earlier I saw a post from someone asking if their trans woman friend could join. As expected the comments were full of the using gushing acceptance, and when one woman posted this perfectly reasonable comment you can imagine what the response was.
Apparently in a group for women, with boobs, talking about and sharing photos of themselves in their underwear it’s unreasonable to expect to be told if there are biological men in the group potentially using those photos for nefarious purposes.

Surely they don't do a typical drag show that you'd get at a gay club, though? 😂 I thought they just read childrens stories, presumably those with a slant on acceptance.

I'd like to know more really, as I feel most of the coverage and opinions are so reactionary/polarised and rarely give the full facts. So a lot of people react to what they think is going on, based on tabloid headlines or tweets.

I'd support the protestors if this kind of thing was being forced on children without parental consent (for example, if they came into a school without telling parents), but if parents are choosing to take their children there and have to remain with them at all times - then banning such things makes me uncomfortable as it's removing freedom of choice. Maybe I'm a bit biased, as I'm gay and I'd be willing to bet good money that a lot of those protestors would baulk at parents who teach their children that being gay is OK as well.

I feel the same about Julie Bindel (and others) being no-platformed as well, as I think people should be allowed to have their say - given people have to choose to be at these events. Consistency is key. I doubt many parents would like strangers telling them they know what's best for their children more than they do anyway.
It’s the fact that Drag Queen Storytime is billed as “inclusive” that gets my back up. The drag Queen in the recent case is called “Aida H Dee.” I can’t imagine having to explain to a child who lives and struggles with ADHD why the “lady” telling them a story has a name that takes the piss out of their disability. So inclusive…

Likewise, queens named stuff like Ana Bortion and Miss Carriage. Just inappropriate all round.

Drag is a subversive adult form of entertainment based on exaggerated stereotypes of women. Children need examples of LGB people who are going about their lives and being happy and successful, not that.

Imagine if disability awareness activists were telling everyone to list their visible and invisible disabilities in their email signatures? ‘To make OUR lives easier when telling people we have XYZ, you should all write yours in your emails, and possibly introduce yourself with Hi, I’m Betty, I am/I have XYZ. If you don’t do this, you are clearly an anti disability bigot who wants us all dead.’ Add it to any of the protected characteristics of the Equality Act and you see how mental it is.

I'm not bothered about a list of companies to boycott but it would be nice to have a wiki to collate useful information - organisations, blogs, websites, articles, YouTube, social accounts. When you first peak it can be pretty overwhelming suddenly having loads of disparate information.

Also, I like this take

NOW THE HEATWAVE IS TRANSPHOBIC.

I just can’t.

I was 11 the first time I got cat called wearing shorts out playing with my friends. Live life as a woman and you’ll realise the misogyny and sexualisation we live with from a young age.
🙄 We really need an eye roll reaction button on this site !

I'm happy to be a far right neo nazi if it means kids don't have to be exposed to this filth and degradation. I used to be a moderate live and let live socialist, but, what the hell 🤷‍♀️

Absolute insanity 🙄
Why do children need to ''get fabulous?'' what wrong with children just getting muddy, dusty and wet from playing outside in the garden or park?

It just reeks of commercialism.......to sell clothes and make up and glittery bits and bobs. Why cant children just be allowed to be children?

The label 'cis' either means 'not trans' and I refuse to be defined as 'not male' (women are not just failed men) and or someone who identifies as/with their 'gender assigned at birth'.

I do not identify with the gender norms and expectations imposed upon my sex, not because I'm a man or some variety of 'not woman', but because 'gender' is the system by which we are oppressed based on our sex. It's the entire reason I'm a feminist.

Anyone who wants to call me cis can fuck right off and shove their regressive gender roles up their arseholes.

Thanks for all the responses guys, I was going to respond all of that to the people I was beefing but I just got banned from commenting on tiktok due to them mass reporting me 🥴.
Gotta love tiktok, they’ll allow people to post gore, child abuse and animal torture on their platform without a ban, but I get a 2 dayer just for saying ‘woman = adult human female’!

One thing I will say though is why is it always ‘what is a woman’ and never ‘what is a man’? Why do these transgender conversations always revolve around redefining the definition of women, and never about redefining the word man 😐?

I hope all this nonsence is finally comming to its peak, most of the time the trans movement tell on itself. I remember in feminist groups I partake in a while ago we’re talking about how one of the big things would be the trans getting into kids - there’s a few attention seekers out there that will happily trans their kids but most parents are not going to be okay with it - think of how a lot of men start to change their attitude about sex work, porn and the objectification of women when they have daughters. Mumsnet is such a mess of a site but it’s telling that the conversation around trans gets shut down there a lot and they have a “terfy” reputation. There is one thing that stands between these groomers and the kids, and that’s those kids mums and dads

Yeah, and that speaks for itself. The likes of Jay-Z espousing about 'raping bitches' and 'fucking booty' and then as soon as he has a daughter decides he's the Dalai fucking Lama. Get in the fucking bin.

It's apparently another non binary awareness day today, some LGBT+ champion took it upon themselves to spam all staff inboxes with a blog link about being a good ally and to update your e-signature to basically be a "good" person. 🤢🤢🤢 Feck off out of my inbox and get back to work.

This is manipulative propaganda, making stressed out colleagues feel like they need to comply. Feck off feck off feck off .

Edit to add, this staff member has suddenly "become" NonBinary this year, but I used to work with her in another department and she told me she has a child that she gave birth to. How can a mother who birthed a child in a natural biological process, because of her biological sex, now subscribe to the notion of being neither sex? I've seen her around work and essentially she's added they/them to her signature, started wearing trousers and cropped her hair. Newsflash, you can change your fashion and hairstyle whenever, without changing identity and losing your mind to a cult! Just wear the trousers, love! You are approaching 40, have your own child and a marriage, but somehow now you are posting blogs on intranet pages to unwitting colleagues and banging the drum about pronouns?! Tell me you're insecure without telling me you're insecure. I work in a place with supposedly witty people, reason has been thrown out of the fecking window.

52 year old man says he's 'basically a pre-teen' because he's only just started to learn how to 'make an outfit' ... these guys really do get their idea of female teenagehood from teen movies, where you have slumber parties, girly shopping trips, learn make-up, practice kissing with each other, do a sassy montage in a changing room and finally remove your glasses and become the most popular girl in school.

Teen movies and porn. Lots and lots and lots of porn.
