I got served today in a charity shop by a 20-something weedy looking man, who had grown out his straw-like hair to mid-back length, and was wearing a boho style shirt and red lipstick. With a stubbly beard. The double-take I did! I was waiting at the till as there was no worker in sight and then he sidled up to the desk to serve me, after emerging from the stock room. The card machine didn't work so I had to stand there like a lemon waiting for him to try sort it out. He was so anxious and meek, I thought yep, mental health/anxiety issues are why you are dressed like this. He looked like he wouldn't say boo to a goose. I was paying by the card on my phone, and I had earbuds in, listening to Audible. My lock screen showed the book I was listening to...a Robert Galbraith book... ahahah. Don't think he clocked it.
Sad really, because he looked so anxious as he then scurried back to tidy some books on a shelf as I left, I thought transitioning won't make him happy, he's probably hiding from himself.
For me you have 2 types of 'trans'-ideology participants. 1) predatory porn sick misogynistic men 2) mentally unwell girls and boys/young adults trying to be someone else/hiding from themselves/something. You could i suppose also be both, if male.
One thing is for sure though, for the latter ones, I may feel sorry for them but I still don't want them in my bathrooms/changing rooms/sports/womens' opportunities.
