Getting beyond a joke now never known a law to take so long to be come law are we now able to pick and choose which laws we want to Obey and live by?🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🦕💚🤍💜
They also asked if my neck is more than 40 cm around which was funny. I have a chance to edit the questionnaire when I finally get a bed/theatre so I'll add my thoughts then.

Good Luck @MaineCoonMama with surgery❤
Thank you, my friend. I'm also having a combined colonoscopy/gastroscopy at some point so it's going to be hectic at Casa Maine Coon. My Harald will have to pull his socks up when it comes to caring for the pets and cleaning the house. You know what some men are like.

Where have you heard that? I just did a quick Google and that’s not been reported on any media outlets that I can see. It appears to be very much Spain’s problem.
You're absolutely right - it seems there's a fake daily express site which started this rabbit. Sadly I can't edit now. Blimey what a world!

I just had to fill out a health questionnaire on my phone for upcoming surgery, I wish it had been on paper so I could write what I thought about their 'assigned sex at birth' tit.
Now, I've had a hysterectomy and am currently growing a cyst on my remaining 1/2 an ovary. This is about as womanly a health issue as one can get but I still was asked my pronouns and bleeping gender. I know it's a generic questionnaire but I'm still annoyed that they pander to this crap.
Probably just as well there was no room for other comments, I'd have gone off like a frog in a sock.
Best of luck with your surgery 🧡

I took my (76 year old) dad to an appointment for a brain MRI at a private hospital a few months ago. He had to fill out a form, and one of the questions was "Are you or could you be pregnant" - he left it blank. When the nurse was going through it, she said, straight faced - you didn't answer whether or not you're pregnant. My dad looked at me, and was completely baffled. "well, what do you think?" He replied. She was all "oh, we have to ask" Bloody ridiculous.

I think ordinary men should answer yes to this, and see what they do.

This happened to a (60 year old, bald) man I work with when he was having surgery on his foot- the nurse asked him if he could be pregnant and he was so stunned he just said “are you taking the piss!?” She too said they have to ask everyone, I actually feel sorry for these medical professionals being subjected to this absolute nonsense and humiliation.

The first time I noticed this thing about asking people who obviously couldn’t be pregnant if they were pregnant was when the Covid vaccines came in. I remember going with my son (6 foot 2, with a full beard) and him coming out and saying “Mum, they’ve just asked me if I could be pregnant”.

"We have to ask" is so bleeping weird. I do a public sector job. I have to tick a million bleeping inane and repetitive boxes to achieve anything, but I don't ask the person I'm dealing with every single question when the answer is blatantly bleeping obvious. It's annoying for them, it makes me look stupid and it makes my organisation look stupid which diminishes trust in our work, which is the opposite of what we want.

There is not a bleeping court in the land that would consider it fair to discipline or dismiss someone for not asking a 76 year old of either sex if they're pregnant. It's bleeping absurd. Why not also ask me if I'm an amputee when you can see all four limbs?

Just doing mad tit because your crackpot employer tells you to is absurd. Even if you're being observed, I'd say, "Well, this form asks if it's possible ou're pregnant Mr X, but I think that would make you a medical marvel!" and move the duck on.

I feel sorry for the (much less in number) female migrants. They are being subject to sexual assaults from fellow male migrants housed in the same camps.
This is just an example from Ceuta, but it happens in all migrant camps where women and men share facilities.

Wafae Atid, a soft-spoken 28-year-old from the northern Moroccan city of Taza, told Reuters that as she waits for the Spanish authorities to look at her case, she and more than a dozen other women had set up a makeshift camp with cardboard boxes, inflatable mattresses and blankets as close as possible to a police van stationed at the centre's entrance for safety.

"It's really bad ... A lot of guys are trying to attack the girls every night, sometimes just when you go to the toilet. They follow you," Atid said.
"It's different nationalities, Africans, Arabs."
The SUP, Spain's largest police union, said 15 sexual assaults of varying degrees of severity had been reported in Ceuta since July 30, the significant majority of whose victims were underage. In a statement to Reuters, it said the majority of alleged assaults occurred in the beach and wooded zones where migrants were concentrated. It suggested that many crimes would be difficult to prosecute because of the "generic" information provided by victims.

In a statement last week, Ceuta's court authorities confirmed they had processed three cases of sexual assault of migrant women allegedly committed by Moroccan migrants who arrived in the city during the mass influx.
Two of the cases involved victims who were minors, one who was allegedly sexually assaulted by penetration and forced to sell drugs, another who was indecently touched. In both cases, the accused men have been jailed on remand, while in a third an adult woman alleged ‌that she was indecently assaulted and the alleged assailant's deportation was ordered by the judge.

The deportation of another man who broke into a private home and climbed into the bed of a local woman in his underpants was also ordered on a charge of breaking and entering.

The problem is always men.

I'm starting a new job soon in an industry where pronouns in emails are likely to be standard. I don't want to be seen as a trouble maker immediately so if asked to do it I'll decline saying it forces those who may not be 'out' to 'out themselves'. Is there anything I can do if I'm asked to wear a rainbow lanyard or similar?

I don’t see how they can force you to wear a lanyard that expresses a political or ideological standpoint. I know people that have been handed out progress flag lanyards when they’ve started jobs and they’ve just swapped it for a plain white or black one and no one has ever said anything. Or you could always wear one that supports another group of people if they try and push the virtue signalling.

I don't wear a rainbow lanyard because they look a bit tit. Nobody has ever said anything, but if they did I'd say it doesn't match my outfit.

A colleague asked about pronouns in emails (not enforced) and I said I have an ambiguous name and don't want to announce to the men I deal with, who call me "Mr Nothanksbabes" approximately 700 times a week, that I'm female so they can conclude I'm due even less respect. I couldn't give less of a duck about being the victim of the crime of misgendering.

It made me laugh the other day, I'd emailed someone in an external company asking a specific set of questions which they were obligated to answer, and she replied answering none of the questions I'd asked, but with her obviously female name and (she/her). Like cheers love, you thought it important to provide me with your pronouns, but not the specific piece of information related to your actual job that I asked for. Give me strength. I couldn't give a shiny rit if you're a badger in a business suit, please just answer the question.
