A million quid of OUR money thrown down the drain towards what amounts to a play acting group.

Clearly no one bothers to properly vet organisations in receipt of our money.
I've read about this project and honestly I cannot believe that ANYONE thinks this is normal behaviour. We all agree if Derek wants to dress in a pink tutu and call himself Donna, on you go!!! But when Donna wants to clamp a newborn baby to his chest No - No - absolutely no!!!

I really feel that I'm in parallel universe where we've lost all sense of reality. How the hell can anyone think this is acceptable???

I saw a clip of Nicola Sturgeon on Tiktok saying that the GRA debate was the divisive she witnessed in the scottish parliament. And she blamed American Right wing Evangelists and saying that they wanted to role back abortion rights and women's rights like they've done in the USA. The bleeping lies just drip from this females mouth!!! In Scotland we've have a "transwoman" attack a child in a supermarket toilet and another who lured a child to their home to attack them. And she still wanted to put a convicted rapist into a female jail!!!!

What we really need is a debate between NS and Helen Joyce. NS needs a bleeping dose of reality.

Hate the term chest feeding……. Chests can not feed human babies. Why does a group that meets once a month for 90mins need so much funding? Ffs stop wasting tax payers money on stupid projects.
Imagine if the government put this money into actual women getting the resources and help to breastfeed their babies? Or to extend maternity leave pay to give women the option to be able to stay home longer with their babies and breastfeed them instead of having to put them on formula or pump to be able to go back to work to afford living.
It's bleeping madness to spend that much money on something that doesn't even work logistically. I feel sorry for that generation of babies that are being forced onto a mans boob, they are violated from the moment they are born. It's a sick world.

I've been following these threads for a while and have been hesitant about posting as a couple of people in my real life are aware I post here but I think I've had enough. I've realised over the last year that after previously identifying as bisexual, I'm actually gay. I went on Reddit (my first mistake) to find les groups for support and they all seem to call other lesbians transphobic because they don't want to be with transwomen and shame them because 'some women have penises'. A man cannot be a les and I will not be called transphobic for not being attracted to straight men.

Sorry for the minor derailment, it's just something that was really grating my mushrooms. For the record, I am not transphobic and don't agree with absolutely everything here (not here to thread police), I just believe in protecting single-sex spaces which includes my own sexuality.

The “queer milk” news story in Scotland is getting a huge backlash. I’m not sure if it’s had any publicity outside Scotland, but taxpayers money being used to fund a group helping TIM breastfeed their hormone induced gunk to innocent babies is not going down well with the public. It really is exposing these vile perverts for what they are. Using babies as a prop for their fetish is absolute sickening abuse.
Over £600,000! Absolutely disgusted by this. LGB parents/people who want a group? Go for it. But spending that much money to facilitate men attempting to breastfeed their babies for THEIR pleasure makes me so bleeping angry. I live in Scotland and the support here can be woeful, we have a big rural community on the west coast and the islands, some of that bleeping money would have been useful! My town is a decent size and we only have 1 woman who does breastfeeding stuff here for two or three days a week and she covers a massive area.

£600,000 would equate to about ten lactation consultants so women could access specialist support once they leave the hospital.

I am absolutely fuming!!!!!!

Welcome to the thread and it’s not a derailment.

But I’m sorry to tell you that unless you’re prepared to bag a transwoman, according to them you’re a bigot TERF.

I’ve emailed my MP and would encourage any Scottish Tattlers to do the same. £200,000 of this was from the government so we have a right to ask!

I’m absolutely fuming at some of the stuff I’ve read on FB the last day or so. Amnesty is being criticised for making its very weak apology to Beira’s place. It’s all along the lines of saying they should not have apologised to JKR, she’s evil, do you realise what Beira’s place stands for etc.
I posted last year about having to stop using a one woman business because of all the nasty comments she makes about gender critical women. I saw last night she had posted, on her business page to boycott Harry Potter because of her hatred of the LGBTQ+ community. As far as I’m aware, JKR has never said anything about hating anyone, only refused to go along with the concept that TWAW. Aside from thinking anyone posting stuff like this on a business page is stupid ( we all know how polarising and hugely divisive this issue is), this is someone so ultra woke, be kind, all that stuff. Except where the feelings of women are concerned.
How the actual duck is it kind to force a traumatised woman who has been sexually assaulted, who does not want men anywhere near her, use sexual assault services with men in it, cosplaying as women? A woman going through unimaginable fear and trauma? Surely, anyone with an ounce of compassion should understand in this time of need, men should step away and keep well out of things. If TIM had an ounce of decency, they should keep well away too. Why do the feelings of women subject of sexual assault matter less than validating a man with a fetish? Because I don’t for one minute think “old school” trans sexual men, men with gender dysphoria would go anywhere near.
It sickens me that protecting the feelings of vulnerable women is seen as hate.

I always reply that she funds the only female-only support service for female victims of sexual violence and she personally funded the escape of women from Afghanistan when the Taliban regained control. What an evil witch.

I hate these hard of thinking dickheads, honestly. Do things only for women and you're evil. Tale as old as time.

Basic truths, eh? How about basic biology? As for that rit of 'trans right are human rights' 🤢😡 don't get me started!
Basic truths? No, I don’t get it, and never will. How on earth can an adult human male just announce “I am a woman“ and it makes it so?
What rights don’t trans people have? Trans people not only want the same rights as everyone else, they want more. They want to walk all over female only spaces, play in women’s sports, while we are supposed to surrender. Of course, when they talk about trans rights, they are talking about the rights of TIM. I’ve never seen TIF stealing spaces in mens sports, or threatening to piss everywhere like a bunch of dogs. Funny that, you’d almost think its all about rights of men 🙄.

I actually reported an account on meta for not being factually correct with the harry Potter thing. I'm in the same industry and I'm scared that my business would suffer if I posted a dissecting voice. Too many in this industry have been cancelled. There are a growing number of customers to festivals that are tq+ but I treat each one with compassion and kindness.

I just wish I wasn't so scared to raise my voice on this matter.

The slogan really loses its power when people are asked what human rights trans people don’t have.

Then you realise their lack of human rights = not being able to do whatever they want, all of the time.
