Not an April fool, all the transitioning and she still looks what is actually is a female
 Cross-dressing in Shakespeare's plays was for safety of women and for jokes about mistaken identity and trickery (not 'twoooo identiteeeeee'), FFS, NOT about being trans.

GMB platforming old codger ‘Steph’ (“I have a gender recognition certificate, driving licence and passport so legally I am female” 🤢) Richards, allowing him to plead #transphobia due to the backlash over his role at Endometriosis South Coast. He has just said, “I bat for women because I see the oppression they take” then goes on to lists other uniquely female anatomy problems as if he has insight (menopause, fibroids, ‘can’t get pregnant’). He’s displaying his fetish on mainstream TV (no pun intended).

I loathe this MAN.

Indeed!

Everybody went back to being the correct sex and had a happy ever after.

None of them stayed tr4nnie and started campaigning and threatening and dinsisting they were women. Why would they want to be women anyway? Women were chattels with very little autonomy. No man wants that. He might want to pretend he has no autonomy, but he still wants to all the shots.

What an absolute melt. And that book that you "can't get in the UK", I've just looked and you can get it on Amazon 🤣

"Some people don't even come into to buy something or look around, they just come in" Do you know what shops are for you absolute wazzock? The whole point of them is to buy stuff. I hope your fluffy feels keeps you warm at night. Because people standing in the shop with their gobs open not spending money isn't going to pay your gas bill (although I strongly suspect mummy & daddy will)

(You'll note I have gone old skool with the bad language. This will last until approx my next post)

This has brought back memories of Hinge and Bracket!

Didn’t someone on this thread jokingly suggest after that casting announcement that ITV would be transing Elizabeth I? Fed up with this transing of the few (compared to male) prominent female historical figures we have.
They didn’t have gender identity in Elizabethan times FFS. Stop re writing the past!
Fed up with these progressive types who cannot think of women other than fitting with very rigid stereotypes. It’s such backward thinking.

I'm getting so sick of all this tit. For the most oppressed section of society they sure as hell get a lot of air time. They just can't leave anything alone.

Elizabeth I had to really be a man, not just a sassy bad ass woman. It's all back to stereotypes, any woman who dared to act outside the oppressed, submissive woman was obviously trans.

The ridiculous thing with this “reimagining” nonsense is that if Elizabeth had been a man then everyone would have been blooming delighted! Henry needed a male heir, hence the divorces, beheadings and all round lunacy of his reign. If E1 had been a boy, Anne would never have been beheaded, there would be no six wives stuff, Edward would never have been born and the realm would have been secure from the threats from France and Spain. Everyone wanted a boy, there would have been rejoicing in the streets. Honestly, whoever came up with this is an utter moron with no idea about history, even as a piece if fiction it doesn’t hold up. How has it been given the go ahead in the first place? It’s utter dross. I despair.
The TRA’s need to leave historical figures alone. E1 was a woman who defied cultural norms, as was Joan of Arc, who they’ve had a crack at transing as well. Who next, Emmaline Pankhurst, secretly a man campaigning for votes for women? Nothing would surprise me. What a bunch of bellends.

Yeah, I mean in general TRAs have the worst gotchas. And the weird thing is, they clearly think they're doing something smart. My favourite low-IQ clapbacks, ranked in order of amusing stupidity, are:

1. You have a unisex toilet in your house!
2. Transwomen are just like Black women, for reasons!
3. Urgh, why are you so obsessed with other people's genitals?
4. We just want to pee!
5. Trans are a tiny and highly vulnerable minority. Why are you getting so angry about less than 1% of the population? Don't you have anything better to do?
And don't forget everyone's favourite....
Intersex people!
Intersex people!
Intersex people!

Superb parody - A Hooray Henrietta who will never have to face a thug in a frock in a public toilet or changing room.

I notice that it seems the Leeds bookshop isn't giving the books away - the people who want to deface them have to a) BUY them, and b) PAY to destroy them.

If the bookshop was providing the books gratis, I would be much more impressed. Actually - no I wouldn't be impressed, but I would think that at least they had some principles.

Never mind. I'm sure that JKR is weeping uncontrollably as every volume at 12 quid a pop is torn, burned or defaced.
I had a woman judging me when I was looking at some of her books in a shop in Savannah. Heard her tutting and muttering under her breath about how she’d rather do x,y,z than read another book by JKR.

I had to pipe up and say loud to my husband (who knew exactly what I was doing and sometimes thinks I bite too easy but this handmaiden crap grates on me) that I loved JKR and couldn’t wait for any more of her books to come out. How she defends women and does what she can with her privileged position to help those without power. That she doesn’t actually hate trans people just the fact the small minority (the hobbies and most vile ones) take her wanting to look after women as an axe to grind against them. And that that tiny minority is actually more vindictive and harmful than her, mentioning wanting her dead, posting her address, wishing sexual assault on her etc. When all she has done is tell the truth and not follow their delusions.

It makes me wonder if they’re going to do the Bisley Boy. There was a rumour that Elizabeth died as a child and they replaced her with a boy who looked like her to fool Henry VIII. This would then explain her not having children etc.

Apparently they used to celebrate it in Bisley where on May Day they would dress a boy as the Queen. And Bram Stoker wrote about it in the 1900’s in one of his books.

Im honestly hoping it’s not because I feel like the whole LGBTQIA XYZ++**#% agenda is getting ridiculous now. For such a small segment of society they seem to be everywhere!

That thing that never happens? It’s happened again...
I thought courts were meant to be about truth and fact? A man commits a very male crime, one that is viewed with disgust by any normal person, yet the court indulges his fetish by using female pronouns? ( I noticed that The Courier only uses his surname).
These are not women’s crimes. However much these bloody creepy weird men may claim to feel or “identify“ as women they can’t help themselves but behave like the very worst types of men.
They so often seem to be political activists too. All very “out there” hardly delicate little dollies than need to be protected.
