I know she's been like that for a while? At least since like the 2010s or something? But the original pre-crisis Supergirl wasn't I don't think. She was just a copy of Superman but female, IIRC. Not really her own character. So I'm glad she got to evolve into her own person and in the comics it's probably interesting but with the movie there is the James Gunn of it all and I'm sooooo bored of James Gunn. I'll always love the Guardians movies but he can't seem to do any other kind of character.
By far the loudest, nastiest voices in support of trans stuff either have "trans kids" or a close relative or friend that's trans. It seems to be the case pretty much every time.

People don’t have to believe what they believe. Fact. You can believe all you want that your Ford Ka is a Ferrari but at the end of the day it’s a Ka. You can paint it up, stick on the badge and stickers but you’re still driving a Ka. It’ll never be a Ferrari!
The only person who walks in the toilet when you’re in there at home is a kid if you have them (mine does not know personal space and chooses them to talk to me) or the other half (again personal space). I think they realise I run away to the toilet for peace and quiet lol.
Toilets in the US are terrifying. Huge gaps from the bottom of the foot of over one foot in height. Cracks in the sides of the doors so you can see people in there even if the door is locked. And the door is the same height as me and I’m 5’10”, so if a dude identified as a woman was tall they would for sure see you.
my daughter is getting more independent now and wants to go to the toilet on her own but I won’t let her. I trust her with all my heart but I don’t trust the freaks out there
