He wanted to be trans 'always wanted to grow up and be a beautiful, glamorous, influential woman, like Marilyn Monroe I'm always going to look up to the older generation of transgender people, especially in fashion,'
'It's so great that there's a strong community of us in the fashion world; it's really a doll takeover.'

So he's trans because he liked girls/womens clothes, not even because he "felt" like a girl. Enjoying the "doll" attention
Not even pretending it's anything more than shallow vanity.

I have no time for his mum so seems to thrive in the attention
Well, I commend him for his honesty about the push to drive women out in favour of men- “It’s really a doll takeover”. Yeah, we know. Cheers pal.

Do you think he stopped for one second to think about who was being taken over from, and how they might feel about? I‘m guessing no.

No no no, women don't need to see clothes modelled by men on the catwalk. We know the clothes aren't designed for real female bodies.
I would never buy anything from this brand.

As for stealing the spotlight, just another nepo baby grabbing 5 minutes of fame 🥱 duck off and do something useful with your life.
Quite.
What's the point of a tall thin man modelling clothes for women, that were obviously fitted to his shape? I mean in that photo his torso is obviously male.
I know female models these days are tall and thin too but they at least have hips and breasts (albeit small) and a woman's physique. But that's still too many curves for some of these designers  They've often wanted to design adult women's clothes as though for a male youth and now they can.

I've decided, from now on I'm boycotting anything to do with IWD. There isn't a single human on the bleeping planet who didn't come from a woman and how do they show their gratitude? By giving us a single bleeping day and often centring befrocked blokes in the celebration of it. duck that tit.

I was asked to give a quote for IWD for our work's social media, which I did but I'm not doing it anymore. I do more in my bleeping working day to support women than anyone else in my organisation and don't need a trite "you go girl" to show it.

Yes, maybe I have woken up in a bit of a strop. Pfft.

I was asked to contribute to my work’s social media tribute for IWD, which I did and I’m not even featured. Bit fed up.

It’s like the thing with that ghastly Mulvaney creature and Nike. How insulting to use a scrawny man to model women’s sportswear. His body shape is not remotely like a woman’s, and if it fits him, it’s pretty useless to any women. How companies decide that is a good marketing move is beyond me. Are they hoping that their customer base is going to buy, on the basis of how inclusive they are, rather than displaying clothes that are fit for purpose. However, I’m sure there’s plenty in the fashion industry that would gladly design exclusively for the male body shape.

Don't be fed up. It's just an excuse for workplaces to pat themselves on the back whilst not really doing anything tangible to improve the lives of their female staff and service users. From your posts on here, it's clear that you actually give a tit about women's rights and that's what matters 😘

I'm sick to death of my workplace constantly promoting days/weeks of this, that and the other. International Women's Day is more performative nonsense that achieves nothing. Still makes a change from all the endless trans rainbow balls. I've completely lost patience with it all. My workplace is so busy being inclusive to everything and everyone it seems to have lost sight of the fact we live in Britain because nothing British is ever promoted on the intranet.

I saw one of the NGO lads on Newstalk during the week trying to claim that no one was abusing the asylum system
I honestly don’t understand why they keep saying the US is so unsafe. I live here and it’s just about as safe as Ireland. The difference is the US won’t pander to their delusions so they’re throwing a tantrum. It’s pathetic!

No free housing, food and a nice little bit of pocket money in the US.

I know the numbers of Americans who seek asylum in Ireland are low but every single one of them is taking the piss, I saw someone on reddit say that the cost of those 2 to the Irish taxpayer is the equivalent of the tax take from 4 working people. How is the US not designated a safe country of origin?

It really is a piss take. I honestly think anyone seeking refuge in a different country should have to be housed on an island and then apply for the country from there. Surely if they’re from such a bad country then they would be grateful for any form of safety. Isn’t one of the Mexican too? Why don’t the just live there?
