International Women's Day, another 'something' that used to honour women being the backbone of society but is increasingly about men.
To me it's a day to think about women like Martina, JK, Kellie-Jay, Helen, Julie, Sandie and the Darlington nurses.
Also everyone who contributes to these threads, you're all clever, funny, insightful and inspiring.

And people argue when we say that the trans movement is misogynistic? The organisers are seriously pretending that this man is falls into the category of a woman? And not just any woman, an attractive woman?

When you consider the standards that women are held to, not just in beauty contests, but in life in general. The pressures on women in the public eye, politicians, sports people, any woman. Laughed at and mocked for being overweight or in anyway 'lacking'. The sort of pressure that plays a huge part in fuelling the exponential rise in the number of young girls who decide that the only way that they can deal with these unrealistic standards is by opting out and declaring themselves non-binary or boys.

All of that, and then the organisers put this man up as supposedly a woman and one to be celebrated and rewarded.

This is beyond insulting. The level of contempt for women in society is unbelievable.

Surrogacy is morally wrong and utterly disgusting, imho, I mean fuck me Britain fought an entire Atlantic conflict and bankrupted itself to stop humans being sold. Human bodies should not be able to be bought and sold. Hiring out your LABOUR to an EMPLOYER, that's different. But selling your body and your baby is not labour, just like prostitution isn't labour. It might not be slavery on a strict definition. But it is serfdom. Serfdom which was largely obsolete in Britain by the fifteenth century (the rest of the world took a lot longer, or hasn't got there yet, but still).

What really grinds my gears is when the baby traffickers, and gay men seem especially prone to this, try to 'recreate' the birth moment on social media through pictures of themselves in a hospital bed holding the trafficked baby. Didn't that Olympic diver pull that shit? It's foul work. A picture like that should be regarded with the same moral valuation as the one of Andrew kneeling over the prone body of a girl. Both pictures depict the degenerate joy felt by human traffickers and all who participate in propping up the trade in serfs.

I had a massive shock and then chuckle this morning.

my mother in law sadly passed away last tear from motor neurones disease, after which my husbands step father decided to be an absolute c*nt and refuse to give anything to my husband that was his mums (even a small ornament or something for our daughter - her only grandchild). We now know why…

My husband went onto ann app called telegram today and saw that his step dad has an account. He then saw the user name - ****** (persons name) slut!! He the saw the picture. His step dad is dressed up in my mother in laws clothes and is wearing full make up, nail varnish and her clothes. He’s also got a blonde wig on, the exact same shade my mother in laws hair was!! Totally flabbergasted!!

I always thought he had smooth legs and arms, now I know why.

NHS only totally captured. A friend went to hospital with her husband who was having a minor procedure on one of his testicles. Something to do with a leaky valve which was causing one of his testicles to swell and become uncomfortable.

She was advised that she could not go onto the ward with him prior to the operation to protect the dignity of all the other men who were having similar procedures on their meat and two veg.

If only women were allowed the same respect anywhere in the NHS.

So many members of the LGB community want to get rid of the T. They’ve been speaking up about the sick behaviours that some of these freaks want to bring into the pride flag, believing it will somehow protect them and give them an excuse for their frankly abominable behaviours. Now it’s happening in the US and they’re proudly saying they’re attracted to kids! I’m sickened.

The pedalos have been trying to ride the coattails of the LGB movement for decades tho. You had PIE in the 1970s and also the movement has its very own philosophers and literary icons like Foucault and Isherwood, both out and proud pedalos.

I really do feel like when this shit is finally over lesbians in particular are due a MAHOOSIVE apology. Since they were the first ones in the early/mid 2010s to be standing up and saying, Trans ideology is illogical, it's misogynistic, it's a gateway to medical and sexual abuse, it's homophobic. The late great Magdalen Berns, Julie Bindel, etc etc. And they were shouted down and insulted in really very old school misogynist and lesbophobic ways. Even by gay men.

It's a mad betrayal to me because as I said when the AIDS crisis hit, lesbians were absolutely on the front line in San Fran and NY the initial epicentres of the disease (like, thanks, Gaetan Dugas), fundraising, nursing, protesting, lobbying Federal agencies etc. Even though lesbians are the group least likely to get AIDS.

And so when in the 2010s, lesbians were hit with a crisis in the form of an ideology which explicitly sought to erase them, you'd have thought gay men would have dykes' backs.

Just reading up on this monster Robert Dorgan, it makes me so angry.

Married men who troon out are 95% of the time spousal/domestic abusers, you only have to spend the minimum of time on MN's trans widows threads, the various YT channels interviewing trans widows, the MyPartnerIsTrans subreddit to realise that.

Trans Widows have some awful experiences, I have read testimony from women who:

- had their husband troon out shortly after the wife gave birth and spent all the family finances on transition
- a father who trooned out and forced his 13 year old daughter to take him shopping for 'teen girls clothes', with her school friends, in the same changing room
- a man who had the penile inversion surgery, ended up with a constantly infected and constantly stinking surgical site, and forced his wife to give him regular oral sex even tho the smell was so bad she had to take Xanax in order to 'go through with it'. On one occasion where she could not control her gag reflex after tasting some of the pus leaking from his surgical site he hit her in the face with his dilator

The shittiest thing is that in all other cases of domestic abuse the sympathy is with the victim. In trans widow cases the woman is STILL often expected to e affirming and to accept it.

I hope the dynamic can now be more widely seen for what it is.

I've scanned all the headlines and it's all just minor stuff about the death of some random bloke called Khomeini, who sounds like a cishet dude to me tbh.

Once again, trans folx and drag queens voices are being erased on this topic. This is unconscionable because I'm pretty sure it was a trans woman of colour who threw the first stone at the Khomeini Hussainia. Pray God the BBC will bravely shed some light on this quickly.

Ugh, I saw this on a parenting group and it knocked me sick. The comments predictably were mainly full of handmaidens and nobody explicitly called out the absolute nonsense. Mods turned off the comments early as they always do when any post could possibly invite criticism of the cult of Troon.

Sorry to blast in from the past (I'm doing some much needed thread catch up!) but if my daughter at 7 had brought home a girl to sleep over and that girl turned out to be a boy, I would go fucking apeshit. Best believe the parents would be round mine collecting him within five minutes and I would be walking him out to their car too.

You do NOT send your child to enjoy the hospitality of another family whilst omitting a crucial and relevant fact about that child. Fuck me, that's obscene.

And apart from anything I would be very worried if I had a child so 'sensitive' that he 'couldn't cope' with losing a single friendship, young children do not have close and intense friendships in the way teenage girls do, they should be more gregarious and flexible and able to play with a fairly wide range of the children at their school. This mother needs to fix her son's social issues before she starts lying to other parents. She could stop making him pretend to be a girl for starters. Because NO four year old ("since he started school") thinks he's a girl unless his parents tell him he is.

Khelif is a liar. A ‘female phenotype‘ means lack of testosterone. Khelif doesn’t have a lack of testosterone, his testes most likely haven’t descended fully.

The fact that he was allowed to compete if he artificially lowerred his T show that the IOC knew he is male but allowed him to punch women anyway.

i hope that the women whose health was damaged and careers were ruined can sue the IOC. All the women who were beaten by Khelif and Yu-Ting should be compensated
