Argh! What is this latest collection all about? I feel like it’s the polar opposite to what Gemma really is? She looks so much better natural in her gym gear.
Here she just looks overly made up in clothes she’s never actually wear and pretty uncomfortable

Yes I completely agree I can’t imagine Gemma actually wearing any of this.

I don’t think she was being overly strict about it, she spoke to her in English. Personally I don’t see a problem with it, at that age she’ll pick up language quickly.

There’s a difference between responding to your child’s emotional needs and not having any boundaries. I think most parents know when their child is trying it on!
I didn’t think that Gemma was being judgemental yesterday. She just doesn’t want to co-sleep with her child. She was talking to making a rod for her own back.

Yeah, I didn't think she was being judgemental, just explaining her reasons. I wasn't too fussed about my kids coming into bed but I completely get why some people don't want to encourage it. I had to set boundaries with loads of other stuff though

It's such a strange move from her and very much against the image she normally cultivates. Some of the items aren't hugely flattering on her and she's got a stunning figure. I'm really conflicted as she's normally one of my fave instagrammers (as someone who does zero exercise ) due to her down to earth approach to life.

I thought some of the outfits looked hideous and her figure is incredible I'm super sad she sold out

Her house looks lovely and a nice setting too. I wonder where Helen and Gorka are training for Strictly, as Helen is living with her parents up in Carlisle and doesn't Gemma live Bury way, surely he's not doing a 4 hour round trip each day. I guess it might be worth is to spend half the week at home instead of down in London like previous years

I think they rehearse in Penrith occasionally, but seem to be in Lancaster most of the time, so meeting halfway

She owns two houses in Manchester and is a landlord. I think she's doing ok financially. She hammered the lads mags back in the day and they definitely paided the big money.
I feel like it was an offer on the table, money in the pocket and morals out the window. Guessing at this point it's securing Mias future. It's a very hard line to tow morals/money. She definitely could of done better with her own clothing line added to the gym wear but no doubt that's more work and precarious.

Gemma seems to be very sensible about money compared to a lot of ex-soapstars - just thinking of some ex Corrie folk who have declared bankruptcy or seem to live well beyond their means. And her and Gorka seem to pay for all the big stuff themselves, rather than say, setting up a home or interiors account for their new house and getting loads of gifted stuff (their garden alone must have cost them an absolute fortune and I like how they used a local business too)

I ordered some leggings from her old gymwear range and they were good quality, but it wasn't really her own range designed from scratch but rather bought wholesale with her branding put on them. I imagine it's near impossible to set up your own genuine gymwear or clothing range without that being your job 24/7 or having a huge amount of investment

The ITS stuff still baffles me though!

Thing is, at the end of the day, her and Gorks have a mortgage to pay. She's only a local DJ realistically (with a book deal and the ITS deal, both of which probably don't pay excessively), and the pro dancers don't get a lot compared to the celebs, hence the ads. He's not even headlined his own tour.

Times are getting harder and maybe she just does it to put money in the bank. We've all been there, done it. She's got aging pets, maybe vets bills are getting more.

To some, maybe she is selling out. Maybe she's just protecting their future. I enjoy the family stuff with Mia (she's got a fab accent!), Esp with her crush on Will Mellor

She's also an actress and children's television presenter!

I love Gemma and her little girl and dogs but the ITS is just so wrong for her. I don’t think she looks like herself at all here

Also really dissapointed. Thought she had higher standards and morals than that. Also looks nothing like herself in the promo photos which is sad when she usually promotes such a positive message about being yourself to her followers. Honestly ITS of all the places.

The styling is so strange. She’s normally so fresh-faced but she looked more like she was going on a night out with so much makeup on than doing a shoot for gym wear!

I haven't watched it in years and know Hollyoaks is pretty shite this days, but I'm genuinely so excited Gemma is coming back as Lisa for a bit!

It doesn't sound like she will be back for long, I'm looking forward to see her do some acting again

She looks fine? It's perfectly normal for a parent who speaks another language to teach their kids to speak it too. I don't think they're perfect, but I can't fathom how anyone thinks this is a bad thing, sorry

Obviously Im in no way saying she shouldn't learn Spanish or that it's not normal, more that at this age she can surely just pick up a few a words naturally as she goes, no pressure Gemma big gob saying how do we answer ? and Mia trying to say grazias to keep them happy, if you know kids you could just see it was a lot for her.

Imagine if you had a 3 year old and the rule in your house was we only speak in German in the mornings.

your little one has just grasped English but the rule is reply in German
surely you would tell your husband no at this age she will just pick things up as she goes, no rules.
