If this all went down in Waitrose (I haven’t watched), why didn’t he speak to management there and they would have it all on their cameras to get the police involved? That’s exactly what I would do if it happened to me.

I don’t think that would be such a bad thing, these reviews (not just Gary’s) are becoming tedious. They’re all copying one another, going to the same places, formulaic … When every food influencer is queuing outside the same Claridge’s bakery or the same chippy in Margate, it stops being food criticism and becomes something closer to a social media trend dressed up as journalism.

think he also said when he was being harassed people got their phones out to film, and he was uncomfortable, the irony… also at the end he says if it happens again, he’s going to film them and put it online ..err…He was rambling on how he does his shopping in Sainsbury’s actually and was only getting a few essentials in Waitrose
