I used to like him (ish) up until he gave the Chinese woman £500 on camera to look like a good Samaritan ( I've just said this on RMT thread, I didn't realise Gary had his own)

he's done it before but not quite on that scale, the times i remember were the £1 meal steak food truck paying for 20 meals or something and making a donation to the RNLI who happened to have a pair collecting there. Not to mention a point of always tipping if there was no service charge etc

I've never seen 'the cameraman' on screen either. He must be living off of his father's earnings as it's a huge time commitment for someone with a FT job.

Maybe Old Ma Eats is propped up with a Pot Noodle and a copy of her son's book?

I'm thinking they might be doing a UK roadtrip Weekend at Bernie's remake with Ma Eats in the back of Danny's Van.

he's literally no different with the clickbait though, he just does it in long form content 'oh this is awful, oh is it worth the money? (100% is when you actually take into consideration all factors), 'HOW MUCH ?!?!?!', 'food poisoning ??!?!' (a review from years ago). I could go on

eating with tod is the worst of the worst, everythings amazing and the best because its well known he gets paid for reviews, he's outrageously entitled and it shows in his interactions. I'd be surprised if there isnt a page on here dedicated to him

i managed to completely put my dad off gary because i pointed out how performative he is in all videos now he can’t unsee it, then said he might not be doing ads but he’s probably getting it all back in tax, which fair but i’d respect him more if he said as it’s his job he can claim it back

One of my favourite podcasts! They mostly cover men, so it’s sort of like the inverse of tattle but they did an episode on Katie Price recently. They also tend to spend about half the podcast talking about things completely off topic but it’s still funny and always nice to hear more people making fun of annoying content creators

I'm surprised the haven't done the MacMaster or Knightstrider yet?

If a video did 650,000 views in 24 hours, a realistic estimate is:
£500–£1,500 if it’s mostly Shorts traffic
£2,000–£5,000+ if it’s a normal long-form review video with strong UK/US viewers

For his sort of channel, I’d guess:

Around £2k–£4k for that one video
…just from YouTube ads.

Me thinks he doth protest too much.

Finally, credit where its due a decent video, yes its still a stupid thumbnail with a bit of a click baity title but hes actually gone to a good restaurant without acting overly a prat or being gimmicky

I suffered the video (flaming subway ) agree. Quite a few calling him out for it in the comments.
Also, someone pointed out before, he has massive feet those brown and now I can’t unsee it.
Interesting he wasn’t allowed to film in that Ramsays place,They didn’t want staff and customers faces showing on camera, but you could see some in the background. Someone said this, in the comments and he said no, YT processing or something.he said he understood and was fine about it, then went on to say /name other reviewers who were allowed , has Gordon had enough of him I wonder

Yes I did too, like the guy said you are Gary or something to that effect, and I got the impression he had heard of him, but was surprised.. But all the hoo hah.. with the doorbell, and no one answering etc. it appeared the guy had no idea he was coming. Another poster said the guy has had a reviewer before? So maybe that’s why he was alarmed but carried on. I just don’t know!
