In all seriousness if he isn't careful he will become known as the local creepy weirdo. Old he gets the worse it is

Interestingly apparently (I didn't watch) Jeremy hunt said in his budget he is asking the benefits office (whatever its official name is) to look into every single person out of work and claiming benefits ( reinterview etc). Made me think of Gary and the other vloggers and whether their benefits could end of be reduced

Unwrapping outfits for his cuddly toy and Disney pins in his Mum's house on his 42nd birthday. What is there to even say any more.

This just makes me so sad. It is so hard enough for people who are really sick to claim, people with cancer being declared fit-to-work because they can walk and stand up. They should not have to be reinterviewed and worry about being sanctioned because of cunts like Gary who are a little bit scared of a big boy job but not going to the worlds busiest theme park multiple times a year. Why can’t he be a road sweeper or something.

I now have an absolutely hilarious image of Gary C in a hi-vis (with Little Mickey in hand, wearing a matching outfit) dancing around a broom whilst singing “Oom-Pah-Pah” from Oliver down some suburban street at 5 o’clock in the morning.

“Sing along, gewhls!” to a passing dogwalker.

@RJF Welcome back! I wondered where you were, your posts are always great and insightful!

He is probably a master manipulator. Guilts his family and probably has threatened self harm in the past. They are probably beaten down and resigned to the fact they will support him until their death.

So has little Mickey replaced Gary’s 300 Tsum tsums? (yup, I did count them, he really does have 300)

Bingo and so it goes, the rates are already dreadful. The media and opportunistic millionaires politicians use the chancers and scammers to rile the public up and get support for more cuts. The scammers and chancers still do their thing, not a bother and the genuine people are cut, sanctioned, re-reviewed, hit with bedroom tax, pushed into food banks to get by…..and the Gary’s of the world are still in bed without a care in the world. They’ll invent some new way to penalise the genuine -£10 less of you have 2 bathrooms, sanctioned if you couldn’t do your job centre appointment online from your hospital bed. The Gary’s of the world will get a raise and laugh at us all.

The system is ripe for abuse like with Gary taking the piss.

I reported someone I know last year for taking the piss. Claims he can’t work due to anxiety and some other physical issue, so gets the whole shabang with housing, yet it’s amazing every weekend he can go out with this club he’s a part of dressed as pirates or some bullshit. It’s amazing how his “bad days” never appear to be when he has things planned..much like Gary, who can’t contribute to society (unless he’s doing a self assessment return each year paying tax that way)

I’ve been watching Adam’s series in reverse order and I was surprised that Gary mentioned previous jobs both in retail and as a a singer in Greece(!).

If this was after he finished his degree, this would be the early 2000s (assuming he started uni at 18). I’m guessing that he went off to Greece for a season, couldn’t settle back to a “normal” job once that was over and that’s when all of his issues started. YouTube came along and gave him a way to be creative whilst not having to work.

It’s so weird that this man has led his life like an open book over the internet for well over a decade but we have no idea of the timeline of his life.

Update: My timeline possibly seems to be right but he can’t decide if it was 7 or 8 months

His Twitter is a treasure trove. The first one - opining on WfH culture and passing judgement on striking workers all at once. Wow.

He also didn’t consider himself disabled in 2015:

The miraculous change from being wheelchair bound in one vlog to doing riverdance in a subsequent one, after hours in a park, was quite something..

Wow.

I lose interest in anyone who asks me what I do for a living.
People don’t ask as a point of judgement, it’s to express an interest in you and your life. He views jobs in very simplistic terms; a means to an end. No it shouldn’t wholly define you, but for a lot of people it’s how we invest a lot of our time which can also bring us fulfilment and joy. I always lived by the motto ‘it’s not what you do, it’s how you do it’, meaning as long as you do things with pride and dignity. His disdain is due to knowing how embarrassing his answer is, not the question itself.

I know someone who is in their 40s and never worked because their dream of being a graphic designer never took off. This was exactly like reading his posts. Completely clueless but doesn’t realise it. Like an incel talking about women.
