I have so many thoughts on this and they're all fairly upsetting. I just keep thinking of her stuck in that tiny van with him for months, and all those photos of them both on terrifying cliffs, with him trying to get her away from other people. I can't imagine the kind of mental torture I have no doubt he put her through, even before I start thinking about the physical abuse.
ETA and then I stuck on Married at First Sight last night with all this whirling around in my head, only to see Franky displaying such horrific red flags that he should never have been allowed near this programme. Sometimes it feels like you can't get away from these types of men, they're everywhere. Anyway, long story short, I properly freaked myself out this weekend and hope it's not too triggering for other people, but I guess, as said upthread, it's good that we're talking about it and calling it out for what it is. I hope law enforcement can learn some much-needed lessons, at least.
