I agree there are a few weird Monica/Ross jokes through the series, like when Ross was Monica’s first kiss, imagine finding out you snogged your sibling
and when Monica wants to have sex with Chandler, Ross is like ‘I don’t feel like having sex’

Every time we watch The One After The Wedding, when Ross is somehow at the same airport gate trying to fly to Greece as Rachel is trying to fly to New York, my husband will always say 'as if that would ever happen, as if they'd let Rachel get on a flight to Greece with a ticket with Emily's name on it' and I just love his level of frustration/disbelief at that

Yeah, like when Ross supposedly tells Monica about losing his virginity ('I told everyone!'). I wonder what that would have done with Emily in season 5 if Helen didn’t get pregnant and could fly
Me too, I'm sure I've read somewhere that Emily was going to cheat on Ross & they were going to split up anyway, but I can't quite remember where, or if that's true or not. I always think it's a bit mean to hate Emily, because let's face it, which one of us wouldn't be pissed off if our husband said an ex-girlfriend's name at our wedding, and then we saw him inviting her on our honeymoon the next day... and Rachel owed Emily a HUUUGE apology, rather than telling Ross she loved him. But of course then the story wouldn't be what it was.

Okay maybe not always right in his lap but they’re always really close and holding hands. I wouldn’t with my brother
I don't mind her either, it just seems that a lot of people do. And then of course all the Friends dislike her when she tries to tell Ross what to do.
If friends was set in 2024 joey would be constantly in the press about his dating ways

Just watching the one where Emily is introduced and I always thought as a teenager that Rachel's boss says the opera is called "deflated mouse"
