Another relationship broken up within months of having a child. Wonder if it's the usual case of trying for a kid in the hope that it can paper over relationship cracks and it didn't work.

I don't get why they waited so long to announce it like it's a big deal. You risk being caught by the press with someone else and being classed as a cheater wrongly.

Talking of cheating I hope Ashley didn't or she should snap Banjos banjo.

Something has felt off with these 2 for ages I knew something was going on and tbh I 100% believe it was him who wanted out not her she still comments on all his stuff likes all his stuff and says how proud of his achievements she is and stuff. I used to love him but honestly I’ve gone off him something about him just makes me think naaa he’s been shady here!.. poor girl I feel for her tbh xx

I feel so sad about their split, sometimes it feels like nobody stays together anymore. However, I think Fran has come across incredibly well despite what must have been going on behind the scenes and she really has had a glow up.

While 16 years is a long time, I do think when people have been together since their teens, there is so much growing up and changing you do, inevitably you won’t be the same people you were all those years ago. I really hope if there is a news story dropping, Fran will be alright. She seems so lovely with a genuine heart.

And does anyone remember earlier this year when Ashley sent her to a spa? She didn’t post anything except a mirror selfie when she was leaving, thanking him. So I do believe when they mention still having a lot of love for each other it’s true.

he bought and converted a church well quick, yet they bought the house they are in to renovate and she had to ‘freshen up’ the bathroom herself!!
I’d be fuming! House still needs renovating too!

He is so up himself. I’ve seen him a few times and he thinks he is a real VIP. Fran on the other hand is totally different. Very down to earth, chats to everyone and always smiling. He clearly got too big for his boots and the fame went to his head. By the looks of things on Instagram, he doesn’t bother with family time and he never seemed to be with her or his kids. He’s a jumped up z-lister and I hope she goes on to find someone much better than him!

I loved the early days Ashley Banjo but yeah i agree hes so up himself these days, still quite tasty tho lol x

I find this news so sad, i feel like Fran deserves better. Imagine how she must have felt watching Naomi and Jordan getting married when her marriage has come to an end so sad!

on reflection I’m thinking it’s not that amicable. Naomi has clearly set out her stall on being Team Fran- I suspect the reported tension between her and Ashley is actually coolness because he’s been a tit.

I find the fact they’ve portrayed a perception of happy families for 18 months quite deceptive although I appreciate everyone has the right to a private life... I just think the timing is weird. It was much stranger for him to take his mum to an MBE investure and not be pictured with his wife at his brother’s wedding than to wonder where Fran was spending Christmas...

Fran has been liking Morgan’s pictures recently so if there’s someone else I really doubt it’s her!

Would Fran put up a post up about them still being so close and the best of friends if he had done anything bad to her though? Kind of feel like he was always away prioritising diversity and they just lost any connection and grew apart as diversity grew. Her doing all the admin work for it as well they probably felt like colleagues. If he had done anything wrong to her she surely wouldn’t be commenting s on his pics and tagging him in stuff, well I wouldn’t! Very sad as I thought they were such a cute family

I just find it strange how they have said they want to get it out there before they approach the new year yet they went into last new year separated but chose not to share that they had split I wonder whether they were trying to work on things this time last year to see whether they could fix their marriage. Either way I really hope no news comes out about him over the Christmas period and they spend it together for the sake of those kids. And that Fran is ok as she’s put on a brave front for the last 18 months!

Never posted on here before but so pleased it exists!! I paid for diversity tickets for my dads birthday present in 2019 as we love their DANCING and we have been in love with them since BGT. Anyway, more than half of the event was full of Ashley, talking, telling stories and weirdly doing a “David blaine style” and climbing into a box full of water and having to retrieve a key to get out. We felt so fed up we had spent money and barely seen them dance. We both said from then on Ashley has got too obsessed with fame and himself and since then we never have bothered with them. I really like Jordan and Naomi though. Feel sorry for Francesca she seems down to earth
