did anyone else notice toto take his mask off at the awards and then proceed to say “bleeping mask” as he took it off😂 if u didn’t i’d recommend rewatching, made me laugh far too much

He's basically the only one in the Mercedes garage who doesn't wear it, apart from some mechanics. At least he's vaccinated I'd assume.

I can’t see him being anything special in F1. Doesn’t seem to have any spark to him that some of the other drivers have.

Still feel sorry for the way he was treated.
I agree he isn't champion material, but was a really hard worker.

Too many have had the potential bit not given a good chance. As we all know money talks and is such a big deal now in F1.

3 seconds behind max (14 behind Lewis), so hypothetically a 5 second penalty would be al it takes for Bottas to be 2nd
Don’t think a time penalty would be right in this situation though (if any penalty) as could argue max may have sped up to ensure he would stay second and not taken it as easy when Lewis passed

Doh 🤦🏼‍♀️ I forgot those were cumulative times behind the leader not times after each other. Yes fully agree if it’s a time penalty it has to be given in the race he knew Bottas couldn’t catch him but if he knew he needed 5+ seconds he’d have worked for it
