As some F1 journalists gave their opinions this week and I know we still have 5 races to go who do we see clinching it, Max or Lewis?

I've had a feeling about Max all season, but I also see them coming together again and that could change the whole trajectory of the championship.
I cannot tell atm, both of fighting hard and giving everything. Lewis will never give up, it's how he is. Another thing to bear in mind is their team mates, how much they "help". Its just nice to see every race count and no 1 sided wins.

also if lewis doesn’t win this year and as you said he will be back for the title hungrier than ever, it also puts george at risk of being that cursed second driver
I really hope it isn't a Nico/Lewis part 2. It would be great to see George take a more equal role than has been given to Valterri because within the next few years he's likely going to be the new "Number 1" driver and I think he needs all the encouragement and support he can get.

You're going from crying about being in the points, to the expectation you'll be on the podium every week and that's a huge adjustment.

I'm really looking forward to seeing him in that car.

I always think about Toto saying that George turned up on his own, in a suit, to a meeting with him. I think he was about 15 or something. Also that article about Toto earlier mentioned the things that the modern F1 driver needs and it pretty much describes George re networking and being able to move between various situations with ease.

It has to be Lewis. 🤞 But you knew I would say that!
And I was that person who thought the Mexico GP was last weekend and couldn’t understand why there were re runs on Sky when qualy was meant to be on Saturday evening.

Would love Lewis to win this year but I felt like if Max won at Austin it’s his to lose- next two tracks are red bull favoured and I’d be so happy for Sergio to do well in Mexico.

They did have it pencilled in for last week and I’m literally busy at race time on Sunday 😭I’ll have to avoid all social media until I’m home Monday.

I’d like Max to win, just to have a change. I was a massive Michael fan but even I got bored when he won it every year in the early 00s. The championship needs different winners and I think it keeps drivers on their toes more.

I'm rooting for Max but I really wouldn't like to call it. I can see more argy bargy between the two as things get heated, and who knows how that might end 😬

I’m a big Max fan so I’d love him to do it but I still can’t call it as we all know how good Lewis is! Been such a great, competitive season so far.

Love seeing Bottas on form. He really seems to have relaxed after they announced he was moving on from Merc.

Isn’t it a shame that it takes a driver leaving a team for this change. Makes me worry for Russell going to that team.

Same its like with Seb and Ferrari, Pierre and Rb and not Valterri they seem to change makes me wonder how toxic the environment is within those teams. I really George does well though and bucks the trend
