It's awkward because neither of them want to do it. Nobody knows anything about Extreme E (other than it being a load of shit). And neither probably know a great deal about Tanner Foust either, and nor do they probably care a great deal. The awkwardness definitely doesn't come from them two not being besties, it's everything else that is making it awkward.

McLaren made too much fuss about an announcement. And all it was was a driver announcement for a racing series that nobody gives two hoots about and has even less viewers than Formula E.

I've seen a video or reel on Instagram and it is fro. The coveted area right near that crash. The cheers are for Lrwis when he tries to overtake but then when the crowd see Max go off it changes to gasp and concern. Yes phones come out to record but hey that happens anywhere. I'll try and find it and screen shot it

I also saw this videos. People where cheering because they saw the cars. When the crash happened you could hear omg, wtf, wow etc. People saw that it was bad. There was no cheering after that. There was only concern. I loved it that people clapped after Max got out of the car. Showed that they really cared about his safety.

Does anyone know who owns Quadrant? My guess is Lando, but their site is lame and I can't see who owns it. I mean the proper company name.

Just looking at companies house and Zak is actually listed as CEO he gets involved everywhere! In terms of the others, 1 is a talent manager, 1 is the co-founder of Voloce which might be why they do so much together, and the last guy is a representative from an investment company based in Glastonbury (Lando's hometown) so would guess this is Lando's influence.

Totally agree. It was shameful. He didn’t even ask about Max at his interview and it was the interviewer that told him that Max was in hospital for further tests.

I think he is a good driver, but I think he believed in his own hype, he forgot how curel F1 is. He was so sure he will go to Ferrari, then shit happened and all team went for the youngers. He had a very bad timing. Sadly I do not see him getting a good seat.
