I don't really get the 'toddler' comments about Lewis tbh. Every other driver gets frustrated on their radio with their team when the team messes up, but they all seem to escape criticism for it when it happens...

I'd be more worried if Lewis didn't show his frustrations yesterday. Same applies to the likes of Vettel, Verstappen, etc who are never short of stern words in the cockpit when things are going bad.
I think his response on the radio was fair- most other drivers would’ve been similar. Some of the stuff after the race may have been perceived as childish

Interestingly when he crossed the finish line he said nothing on the radio in response to being told he was P7. It was silence. Most people say something after a bad race even if it’s just that as a team they will learn from what’s happened and move on.

Some of his comments in interviews though were a bit questionable. He made one comment that he had nothing he could learn from this race but the team did. Like he has to accept some of the blame- he did awful all weekend (compared to Valterri) so there must be some learning from what happened. He can’t blame it all on the team (unless there was some significant difference between the two cars set up to explain it)

I can't stand Natalie. I wish there would be more women there, and they could do an interview without flirting with the guys.

Schumacher not happy with Mazepin on that last lap
Did look kind of dangerous his move (someone’s attached the video of it as a response to this tweet)

Found the clip although it wasn’t the marketing lady in this particular incident. It doesn’t seem so bad in isolation but within the whole episode it came across badly (treatment in meeting etc)

It brings it all back. Seb is a funny guy - you can’t tell him not to funny. It was nice to see Seb looking happy over the weekend.

That was exciting!!!! I LOVE seeing the ecstatic reaction of drivers who don’t ‘expect’ to be on the podium. Such absolute joy on their faces

Guenther knows who is paying the bills at Haas right now, and it isn't Gene. He's probably having to restrain himself.

Wouldn't be surprised if Gene Haas pulls the plug and Papa Mazepin buys the team in the near future. Especially if Haas don't produce a decent car for 2022.
I think you are right. Watching the GP over the weekend I don’t honestly know why Haas are there. It must be so demoralising week in week out competing, rarely getting a point and having Mazapin as a driver.
If Papa buys it, it will be renamed Mazepin although Mazeaspin is more appropriate.

I love Seb, so pleased for him and feel like he’s getting his old self back after toxic Ferrari drained it from him.
loads of rumours Russell signed for merc for 2022 at monaco and bottas has been told. Would explain his terrible form recently.
I also saw a story that merc lineup next year would be Russell and Vettel! Ha ha can’t see that as much as I’d love to see Seb in a merc.
I know Russel is fast, but it still surprise me how easily Toto dropped Esteban. He treated him like his golden child before, same rumors went on, how he would get Bottas seat.

Can only hope and dream and why not? Well I was thinking Pierre might do well this weekend and is going good so far. Cannot see Bottas getting pole and with that 3 place grid penalty is not gonna help Lewis out much. Whereas Perez is not far off Max. We shall see in less than 9 mins
Pierre and Lando on the podium, that would be a good weekend. With Yuki as well, he needs a boost.
