No I didn’t edit it. He didn’t choose to work away, it’s his job that pays for our lifestyle and sadly he gets sent places and can’t say no!

when he’s home he’s very hands on and he does all the animals whilst I do cooking etc, but it’s his busiest period of work at the moment and his work are assholes and sending him all over the place rather than choosing other people to do it when he has a baby due anyday it’s sooo hard doing everything by myself this pregnant. I can’t wait to give birth so he gets to come home and have paternity leave lol

This sounds really hard. Is this anything that you could throw money at temporarily if you can afford it? Like meals delivered, cleaner for a couple of weeks? I can’t believe he left you to do everything.

He didn’t leave me by choice, it’s his job that pays the mortgage and for everything sadly. He’s paid for a lady to come and help with the horses 2x a week and also a cleaner come 3hrs a week thank god! It’s a big weight of my shoulders on those days - but these kids literally destroy the house by the next day, and cooking 3 meals a day means the kitchen gets trashed so quickly 🥲

Not long to go until he’s home for 2 weeks and I can relax, then he goes off away again aaahhh. 🥲 summer is his busiest period at work so he’s away loads but then he’s home lots in autum-winter so it’s swings and roundabouts - but it’s so hard for me juggling everything alone

Me too. He’s 2hrs away so I hope he doesn’t miss the birth if its a quick one 🥲 I’m on instruction to call him at the first signs lol

what’s the age gap with your other kids? are any of them old enough to help out a bit, if only with getting themselves ready? tbh i think you’re super human anyway, i struggle getting everything done with just 1 child!
