She is so old money. Never seems to earn any, its just there.

Also slither is what a snake does, I think you mean sliver Florence.

I'm sorry but what the duck is up with this mockney accent. God she sounds like every other posh home counties darling who moved to London and tried to rough up their accent a bit to hide their privilege. This is so embarrassing. She knows we can all see her earlier vids and tell that's not here real voice, right?! 🙃🙃
I haven't heard the mockney accent from her until this video. I'm cringing. Deliberately dropping her t's. She never used to speak like that. Crazy how say I, have people comment on it, make presumptions, and even correct me (even strangers) because of my class / status but for her it's cool, its just an accessory to try like her feather boa. God!!!!

It’s actually not how someone from London her age would speak these days anyway- cockney has largely died out and been replaced by MLE, or multi ethnic London English. Even white kids sound like Top Boy these days 😆 T dropping isn’t a huge feature of that accent. When I hear young influencers doing this I just know it’s not natural and they’re trying to sound cool, like they think Londoners sound

erm... we need more details pls !!
Not much else to say! She’s a friend of a friend and this was a couple of years ago. She was nice enough but I remember just being struck by how…not forthcoming she was, as everyone else got rounds in. She also brought up “when she was cancelled” within about an hour of meeting her.

It's truuuue. It's the young influencers of higher class / come from money doing their best impression of what they think a "commoner" sounds like 😭🤮

Half expect them to start performing a scene from Oliver when they walk past a Lidl.

When she mentioned being cancelled, did she say what she thought about it? Or just referred to it?

She didn’t, but it felt like she was dying for people to ask her what happened and no one did. We were talking about an issue a friend had had on socials and she chimed in with, verbatim, “When I was cancelled…”

It’s a big show to say look at me a “queer” writer and this “queer” character uses she AND they pronouns.
It’s very performative 🙄 Centre a queer character fine, but this just reads like a kid trying to shock. Which is what Florence is I guess :)

About the accent - when you move, over time your accent can change naturally. I was 30 when I moved (only an hour South) and now people in my home town think I am trying to be posh. I am most definitely not. 😂

I like her enthusiasm and lack of tit giving. I am the complete opposite to her (people pleasing head) and probably older than her Mum but I admire what she has achieved at such a young age. I like her style and her music and her whole aesthetic. I am way out of her target demographic so not sure how appreciated my gushing would be.
