YessssAn actual queen of our generation, we all need a role model like floss
Honestly I wish I had someone like her in my life when I was with my manipulative, abusive ex. She would’ve saved me going through so much depression & anxiety and made me realise my worth sooner.I love Floss!! Her book arrived today and I'm so excited to read it. I think she's actually a really great role model and I wish she'd been around when I was younger (even though we're like the same age but you know what I mean)
Ooooh I’ve just read her book and I did enjoy it, however I did a quick twitter search today and came across some tea. Some people she went to school with revealing things that she definitely doesn’t preach. Could be balls, who knows, but I thoroughly enjoyed her book and get she may not be up to everyone’s taste. She wern't so nice in school but thats a whole nother story![]()
What type of stuff ? I believe we come from the same home town but she's 21 or something isn't she ?Ooooh I’ve just read her book and I did enjoy it, however I did a quick twitter search today and came across some tea. Yeaaaah I know a few people who can’t warm to her, they say she seems like the Regina George kinda type in school. If the whole thing about the eating disorder is true then that’s sad, as someone who suffered badly & went through one during my late teens, lying about it just to get success and admiration doesn’t sit right with me. As I said though, I DID enjoy her book but it might not be for everyone.Seems accurate
I did find some parts of her book extremely useful and some parts really opened my eyes. I wish the book had existed when I was in a toxic relationship 3 years ago - I would’ve realised my worth and packed my bags up and dumped him sooner.Wow. I’m shocked but at the same time not shocked. I bought her book and I read the part about her in high school falling out with her mates. there was just something about it that reminded me of some girls at my school and how for their myspace blog, they’d make out they have this loneliness and how different they were on the inside but it was all a bit fake and you knew them as the mean people in school
I’m about half way through the book- some parts I love, ngl.
Absolutely same here. I definitely think it appeals to those of us who’ve been through a toxic relationship. I kind of felt like someone was telling me “it’s not your fault” and all of the things you wish the people around you would understand.I did find some parts of her book extremely useful and some parts really opened my eyes. yes, we went to an all girls high school in plymouth. floss was one of the most 'popular' girls in the year, i never knew of her getting bullied...only her doing the bullyingWow.
