First World Problems

Not feeling well so spent the afternoon in bed. BF has been bringing me drinks etc and now I really need to pee but have only just got comfy.

It's my birthday tomorrow and I had ordered some brand new clothing for this occasion (I stopped impulse fast fashion buying a while ago, so shopping for clothing has decreased in frequency). These were supposed to arrive today and they're still not here. Same goes for the candle I had bought as a gift to myself for this occasion.

I wanted to look all pretty for myself (clean hair, new clothing, perfume and be relaxed). Result:
- I forgot to wash my hair before I got into the shower this evening, so it will have to wait until tomorrow
- New clothing not received yet
- I can't find the perfume box I've been wanting - it's sold out everywhere

I want to do the rollerskating. I used to skate as a kid but that was when I was fearless. Im now 30 something and don't fancy falling flat on my face or wafting my arms round because I cant balance

Roller skating looks so fun, you should go for it!!! I’m fully expecting to fall over a lot when I finally get a board but I love the idea of cruising around on one once I get good enough

I need a new winter coat and some warm weather tops that I can use in winter and summer but I'm really picky with clothes and how they feel. I like for convenience so it'll take me forever to find ones that I like. I walked around in holey shoes for months cause I couldn't find any new ones of that kind that I liked. I am a nightmare

My husband bought me one for my birthday. I wouldn't buy it myself! And primark have started making knock off versions so could get a cheap version instead of the branded one.

It is warm and if you put it over your knees it warms you up pretty quick. But I don't think I like it more than a normal hoodie or dressing gown

All this tech has made people feel so entitled to others I think.

I always have my camera off. I don't care what people say to be honest because WFH has triggered a whole new level of scrutiny. I find it rude that people feel entitled to have a peak at my private space (meaning my apartment). I'm not comfortable having my camera on and no one is going to force me to. I'm here, I deliver the work, very responsive to my emails & IMs. There should be no problem with having your camera off. This new set of codes is laughable.

Totally agree! I wish I could go audio full-time It’s been mentioned in a disciplinary sense though so it’s not an option. Some people act like you’re bullying them off camera or something I’m probably just looking knackered after a workout and don’t want to see my mush staring back at me. People who know me know I will never FaceTime so having to do it for colleagues is a big ask!

Websites that don't let you reject all cookies in one go but make you reject them individually.

I'm never sure about what I'm supposed to do with cookies.

If they aren't ' ticked' and you press reject all , does that mean you have accepted them ?
