Reduced before it’s published, love itI noticed the new book has already been reduced in price and is not out yetI wonder if it will be filled with more judgey comments and inaccessible lifestyle tips about trips to Waitrose and privileged complimentary therapies?
She has well and truly stuck two fingers up at the thousands of people who have backed her for a long time. Her instagram doesn’t even have a photo of herself as the profile photo or even her own name!! Last attempt to get a few pennies from this book and she’s off.The more I think about this and how she has suddenly said ‘seeya’to everyone who has supported/donated/prayed for her happy ending... She really doesn’t care does she? I completely understand not wanting to show photos of ‘O’ and turn into a baby selling page, but to completely ignore her existence is very odd.
She really has stuck two fingers up to her followers... and turned it all into a full business-only account.
The only reason she’s back is to sell her book, it’s very clear.
And the 1% donation...I don’t even have the words.
I’m getting so bored with all her small business shares, she’s like bloody QVC for Instagram! Her account is nothing more than advertising space now. Before her daughter was born I thought she was going to have the last blog post be about her. She was doing the last series and said she still had one to do and I wondered if she would write it herself. Almost a way of rounding the blog off. It started with her and would have ended with her but on a happier note. Now we know that she was writing the book instead but seeing as the book also contains other women's stories, her part surely can't be too long to write on her website instead. Like you said, I think a lot of people would have respected her more for it. All of this half a foot still in Instagram until she can leave is boring. Interested to see how much promotion she'll do for book 2. Last time was tv interviews, book signing events. I’m going to leave my page active and my blog too so that if anyone wants to read through it they can but from now on I won’t be active. Thankyou for the support, well wishes and love you’ve all shown.”
