M&S plant kitchen no egg Mayo and cress sambo is sooooo good.
Also love a simple cheese and salad cream combo

Hummus, cheese, tomato and spinach on wholemeal

Or, white bread, butter and salt and vinegar crisps.

A crisp sandwich. And it has to be kerrygold butter and tayto cheese and onion crisps, with a cup of tea.

I remember when I had to work in the UK for a few months, I couldn't believe my delight when I found a shop in London with Irish crisps, butter and tea :ROFLMAO: no offence to any brits, but your walkers crisps caused me great offence lol
I really dislike walkers crisps!

What Taytos was it?
We only seem to get the ones that are made in the North . I want to try the ones made in the Republic lol

A normal go-to butty for me is smoked ham and English mustard on white. If it’s all posh then a hot steak (rare) baguette or roll with rocket, a smear of Dijon and a squeeze of lemon. Heavenly.

One more: there was a sarnie place in my uni where they sold these whole grain sandwiches with turkey, cheese, tomato and iceberg topped with some creamy mayo sauce. Delightful!

I'll never forget looking in our fridge and seeing a full cows tongue sitting on the shelf, massive! My mum and dad fed us all kinds of offal, I hated brawn sandwiches
My granny used to give us brawn on hot chips. We loved it until we found out what was in it 🤢.
Love a mature cheddar and piccalilli sandwich.

Pret did a lovely fresh salmon and avocado flatbread last year but I think its been discontinued:rolleyes::rolleyes: probably for the best for my bank account though

Love a tuna mayo salad on a buttered, crispy Morton’s roll. You can’t come to Glasgow and not have a Morton’s roll. 🤤

But when we were over in the States a couple of years ago we went to a deli and tried a Reuben for the first time. They were the business (though that belongs in the hot sandwich thread 👀). 😚 👌🏻
