Lovely thing happened today. I was looking after my three year old grandson and he said 'Nana when you go I can always smell you on the sofa'. I said 'is that nice or not?' and he said 'very nice' 🥺
It's usually a Versace one which I've forgotten the name of. I left it for a while but came back to it and really like it now. It's quite punchy.

I’m so happy! I went in my cellar today and located a box with a big vintage dune, hypnotic poison, a big Tuscany per Donna, a tiny red door parfum and my Love Chloe.

In Savers today on a whim I got a bottle of Vera Wang Embrace Periwinkle and Iris Body Mist - £4.99.
Its just lovely. Sort of violets, citrus and powder. Very comforting. Like a lovely smelling jumper. Probably not going to last long as it's a mist.
I'm going to get the perfume (still really cheap) as its so pretty.

My New Year’s resolution is to not buy any more fragrances and to shop my own stash. But there’s still time before the end of 2025 and the inner turmoil I have in trying to not buy something new to try is strong 🤣🤣

If anyone would like to try a great dupe company I can definitely recommend Olfactology , honestly the best I have tried by a long way and they last so long too . £15 for a nice 10ml size, lovely stuff I have 3 of them and they are gorgeous.
Niche fragrances
I have tried Valaya, Delina and Hibiscus Mahajad, all were 10/10

I have added all my perfume collection into Claude (AI) along with the perfumes i have trialled and all the thoughts on them. I was thinking i could create a table so its easy to digest ( as its a lot of information)

Would anyone be interested in this?

Anyone who buys Armani Power of You, don’t spray it on your clothes if you’re wearing white or cream because it comes out purple and I have purple splotches all over my blouse😳 hopefully it comes out in the wash!

It was my birthday today and I’ve been given Valentino Born In Roma Melancholia (purple) and Armani Power Of You, they are both gorgeous! The Armani is very fruity, quite grapefruity (?) I’m awful at describing scents sorry!

Bought SPACE NK’s Caribbean Shores body wash and body lotion and it arrived today. The scent (of the body lotion especially) is exactly like Estée Lauder’s original Bronze Goddess perfume…if anyone is looking for a nice body lotion to compliment it/give extra staying power!

Andrea Maack made one of the worst perfumes I’ve ever smelled and the only one I’ve tried by that house. I can attest to the longevity, sadly 😂
It is always the perfumes you hate the most that have the most beast power.

My blind buy Khamrah by Lattafa arrived today and I’m really impressed. For around £23 it’s a great buy, appears to be long lasting and comes in a lovely bottle. It’s apparently in the same family as Angels Share by Killian. Definitely going to have a look and see what else they do. I’ve also got their version of Baccarat Rougr which is pretty good

Those who bought the Cult Beauty perfume sample box, how are you liking it? For me nothing has stood out until today when I tried Debaser by DS&Durga. Not usually a fan of green scents but it reminds me of being outside, in the garden, visiting somewhere during the warm days of spring. It’s weird how emotions can sometimes get tied to a fragrance because for me it feels comforting and nostalgic for some reason.

I usually wear Versace yellow diamond intense, and was traumatised at running out of it (i cant live without perfume)

Being completely skint I purchased Ted Baker Mia and slap me silly with a wet kipper it was lovely

A tenner I think it was.
