Do you like white florals? I don’t think the narciso is musk-y . It’s more floral on me ( but will no doubt be different on you ).

I agree about musc invisible - I love this but shame it’s crap performance. Not tried pear inc though.

To buy list :-
Penhaligons -Solaris
Amouage - Love Delight
Andrea Maack - Jest
Christian Louboutin - La Fetish Rose
Kilian - Old Fashioned
BDK - Gris Charnel extrait ( I have the Gris Charnel but it’s pretty rubbish for performance. The extrait is more potent).
Narciso Rodriguez - For her intense ( the one in the bright pink bottle)
Victoria Beckham - Suite 302

How about you?
I love white florals but am quite picky! I will definitely give it a try.
I have a few on my list
Delina La Rosée Parfums de Marly
Retrospect Merit
Breathe Me Michela Mezzetti
Gentle Fluidity Gold Maison Francis Kurkdjian
Fleur Narcotique Ex Nihilo

Also want to try the new releases from PDM and Killian!

I like some of the M&S Discover range, they have a new one out - Pear and Blush - I've seen it mentioned that it's a dupe for the Merit Retrospect.

I haven't tried any of the M&S EDPs yet - looking forward to testing them as the EDTs are lovely but most have poor staying power tbh.

And the Jo Malone English pear and fresia which I wear so I’m keen to have a sniff of the M&S one.

I have tried Gentle gold fluidity - was nice but I didn’t love it.
The Fleur narcotique - this is valaya ( PDM ) but starts off floral ( in a nice way). As I own Valaya I decided to stick with the Valaya. Really lovely perfume though.

since merit was mentioned I’d love to try this . Also love PDM delina la rosee . Not heard of Michaela Mezetti though.

I just can’t with valaya or exclusif! I don’t get it at all, it’s awful on my skin! I’m almost envious of everyone who loves it 🤣🤣🤣
Michela Mezetti do a gorgeous vanilla called lick me, definitely worth a smell if you like vanillas! Breathe me is a bright fresh oceanic breeze kind of scent, not great performance wise but I will just reapply!

My blind buy Khamrah by Lattafa arrived today and I’m really impressed. For around £23 it’s a great buy, appears to be long lasting and comes in a lovely bottle. It’s apparently in the same family as Angels Share by Killian. Definitely going to have a look and see what else they do. I’ve also got their version of Baccarat Rougr which is pretty good
We must have the same taste, as Khamrah and AS are my two favourites in autumn/ winter! 🥰

Does anyone have any thoughts on Valentino Donna Born in Roma Extradose? I’ve only sprayed it in shop but the initial headache inducing heaviness dries down really nicely and I’m tempted.

I have it and love it. I don’t wear it that much anymore although I wouldn’t get rid of it. It’s definitely an evening fragrance for me as it’s really strong.

So nice isn't it! I think there's other one's like candy night and candy kiss etc. Have you tried them? Would love to know what they are like 🥰
I had a sample of Prada Candy Gloss - really sweet with a definite cherry scent (like cherry drop sweets). I have had a spray of Prada Candy Night which had a chocolate base which I wasn’t too keen on.

Hello @unfinishedsentenc how are you? How was your Christmas? ♥ 🎄 Did you feel very festive wearing Angels Share on Christmas Day? I ended up wearing Rouge Malachite which is my favourite ever and one I bring out for special occasions - such a decadent balsamic white floral.

Are you now planning on what perfumes you will begin buying in April for the summer, or will beach skin be your main summer fragrance?

Are Musc Ravageur and Angels Share strong? You know I don't mind a strong fragrance every now and then, especially for going out. But I've been recently gravitating towards skin scents that aren't so overwhelming. I blind bought Sonic Flower that's meant to be similar to Glossier You, and I really like Angel Dust Extrait by Fugazzi and Studied by Liis. Orpheon isn't really a skin scent but sort of down those lines in that it's not too overpowering. It's a sort of powdery woody scent that has a bit of sharpness from the juniper berry. It's really nice and unique and easy to wear I think, definitely one I can spray without really thinking and wear to the office without worrying about it overpowering everyone.

I have a few beast mode fragrances in my collection like Initio Atomic Rose and Le Labo The Noir, and while I love them, I find it hard to find the right occasion to wear them if that makes sense. Like they're only really things I'd wear in cold weather in the night time and as they stick on clothes I can't wear the same thing twice if I want to switch out a fragrance. I used to love that but now I'm not sure if I'm now gravitating towards scents that I can wear most of the time and fade after a while so I can switch them out.

I have a few more samples coming though. I have Musc Ravageur by Frederic Malle, Lilyphea and Tam Dao by Diptyque and two D.S and Durga ones (Debaser and I Don't Know What). I ordered them this evening after a few beers 😂
Hi 👋 ❤ I actually haven't really got anything in mind to buy for the wedding. I only looked at amouage love tuberose. It sounds so nice but I think they only 100ml and it's so expensive! 💰 I really don't want to purchase anything til at least April 😄 still getting through those bottles I uploaded a photo of on this.

Angels share is quite strong but not overpowering. I could still smell it on my coat a few days later! Musc ravageur has decent staying power also. I just think of Christmas time when I wore it. I've never tried anything by Fugazzi but would love to.

Where do you get your samples? I'm in Ireland and find some only ship to the UK.

Delina la rosee in fab! The price pisses me off but I really love it probably even more then my delina exclusive.

Tried a sample of gfg by mfk and loved it much more then baccarat rouge.

Hello how are you :)? I just looked at amouage's love tuberose but it is quite expensive 😭 and it's not that much cheaper from a discounter. How many perfumes do you have in total now, and how many are you hoping to finish by April? I find my list of fragrances I want to buy is growing longer than it takes for me to use them. I swear I have enough to last like 100 years and I still want more.

I might try Angels Share but only next winter when I can save, and Musc Ravageur to me is a cooler weather scent so hopefully that'll put me off until next autumn / winter. I did fall in love with Lilyphea though and it's so expensive even by Diptyque's standards. It's a lovely watery floral that's quite green but then warms up with vanilla and ginger in the base. It's so beautiful but also so expensive 😢

I usually buy samples from perfumista or fragrancesamplesuk but it doesn't seem like they ship to Ireland. Posting perfumes overseas is always quite difficult I've found - how have you been getting samples so far?

I trialled Amouage - Existence yesterday.

it’s not for me. To me it smells of lily of the valley soap and nothing else . There are comments on Fragantica saying it is similar to Delina - not sure what they are smelling but this couldn’t be further away if it tried.

To me this perfume is suitable for ladies aged 70+

I need a bottle for the summer, hoping to find a good priced one on vinted.
I love gfg, baccarat rouge did nothing for me but I have heard the extrait is sweeter so I’m going to get a sample when I next make a scented samples order

Me too. I quite like it but not sure it’s something I would find myself reaching for if I bought a bottle.

Final update - acne studios is not for me. It’s way to laundry detergent for me. Thankfully it died out reasonably quickly.
