SOTD is Hermes Un Jardin Sur la Lagune.

I thought because it is sunny out i'd wear a nice summery fragrance but it is a bit chilly so it's not quite hitting 😂.

I recommend this for anyone looking for an affordable summer fragrance though. It is a white floral with a salty marine note. Reminds me of being by the sea.

I bought it for about £40 for 50ml.

Hoping I like it!

I also ordered a couple of other samples .

If anyone is after a reasonably priced rose perfume Yardley Oppulent Rose is rather lovely. It's an EDT and I only had a scoosh in Boots but later it still smelled rosey.
It's sort of like wet heavy roses in a florist rather than garden on a warm day (their regular rose EDT is like that). I think I'll get it next time I'm there - about £20.

SOTD is The Aldi dupe of Si Passione…no lasting power but for £6 I don’t care too much.

Wearing Penhaligon’s Savoy Steam. Hate that it’s been discontinued, it’s such a lovely perfume.
Loved this one, as does my husband ( between us, we have several different Penhaligons scents- both love Halfeti , he also like Quercus and my favourite is Luna and Blenheim bouquet for everyday wear....also love Juniper Sling )
He's also got Endymion, Hamman and Sartorial in his collection, all of which I wear from time to time !

...he enquired as to what to buy instead and was recommended to try this one, which he's bought but yet to use!

Just wish they'd stop discontinuing their classics
I've also got a few Miller Harris perfumes which are of a similar genre to Penhaligons if you're looking for something similar ( can recommend L'air de Rien, Tea Tonique and Vetiver Insolent )

I’ve just bought Kayali Marrakesh in a Bottle, and love it! Like orange Turkish delight. Not the most amazing longevity, but a really nice fragrance to go alongside my usual Summer favs (TF Neroli Portifino and Soleil Blanc)

Just purchased Carolina Herrera Good Girl Jasmine Absolute with 20% off after sampling it in Boots and falling in love. Not a fan of the others in the range, but this is right up my street - creamy, sweet gourmand goodness. Longevity is fantastic too. Also received a sample of Miss Dior Essence, but haven’t tried it yet.

Still waiting on this order to arrive. It’s been sat in Bristol sorting office for about a week now 😐

Anyway.. trialling Frederic Malle - Musc Ravegeur

I smell like Mr Sheen. Don’t know what else to say about it.

I got the travel size of the neroli portofino. I really liked it but I didnt thi k it had a lot of staying power for me.
My current fave is the eau de soliel blanc.

Ive the VB portofino on today. I think, if I smelled it on my husband, it would be gorgeous as a men's scent.
I love all three of these! Soleil Blanc and Neroli Portofino were my scents of last Summer, and I’ve recently tried VB Portofino. I quite like a unisex fragrance, and I agree VB Portofino leans more masculine. I received a sample when purchasing VB eyeliners, but I am unsure whether to buy the full size bottle, as I don’t think it’s quite worth the price compared to the Tom Ford fragrances 🤔

SOTD Angel Dust Extrait. It was a bit cloudy and overcast today and I thought this fits that perfectly, it's a nice woody skin scent.

I’m wearing Geurlain Mitsouko today with a layer of Yardley rose body spray. Yes really. Each are delicious but together are superb.

Unpopular opinion - kayali fragrances. Tried two; the pistachio one made me smell like cherry Bakewell and the wedding night one I wasn’t a fan. Am I missing something? I really like delina atm and angel dust

let us know how you get on with it please :)
I wore it tonight to the symphony (look at me, so cultured) and it's been fantastic! I do need to trial a full day but it wears much nicer on than from the bottle (I'm sure there's a proper term for whatever that is) so I think it's a winner. So grateful you told me of this site. I swear, I did try googling before and didn't get anywhere promising. Positive feedback from you and @Also_smoke_and_mirrors (thank you!) sealed the deal!

SOTD: Zara Vibrant Candy, apparently a dupe of Prada Paradoxe. A blind buy and not the usual type of scent I go for, but for some reason I keep reaching for it!
