Still can't work out how I feel about Glossier You! Some days I really like it but others I get that pencil shavings smell. Glad I didn't get a full size one! Also wish I'd tried the original formulation everyone seems to rave about.
No but I do have the nuit flanker which I love. It’s very coconutty/ holiday ish. Which doesn’t really answer the question .. sorryHas anyone tried the Estée Lauder Bronze Goddess Flora Verde?I'm tempted as I love the original and the flora verde is half price on the website. I’m not sure whether than means this flanker hasn’t sold so well and they need to shift excess stock. Mixed reviews on the website
Are you applying over body lotion? I find if I don't wear lotion my perfumes don't last as long.I know it’s popular, but I bought YSL Libre EDP a few days ago because I do like the smell. Everything I’ve read says it’s strong and long lasting, but it seems to disappear after a few hours on me, I swear my skin eats up fragranceMaybe I should have bought the Intense version, but I read one review that said this projects even less and is more of a skin scent. I already have the le parfum version which I would say lasts a bit longer on me than the EDP.
I have the old formulation, I don't find it's that different to the new version, just less creamy. People used to say the old version smelled like pencil shavings too, I think the ambroxan note just does that to some people's skin.Still can't work out how I feel about Glossier You! Moon Fiction by And Other Stories. Some reviews say it smells like Byredo Gypsy Water but I wouldn't know. It's fruity and musky. What’s everyone wearing today ?
Yes. It’s very sweet and honey soaked. Lasts very well as well.Has anyone tried Gisou hair perfume? Or can recommend any to try out?
I have the intense and it definitely lasts. Try popping it in a drawer without the lid for a week or two. It speeds up the ”maturing” of the perfume and can help with longevity.I know it’s popular, but I bought YSL Libre EDP a few days ago because I do like the smell. No I’m not - which body lotion? Any?Are you applying over body lotion? I find if I don't wear lotion my perfumes don't last as long.
Thank you, I will try this!Yes. It’s very sweet and honey soaked. Lasts very well as well.
If that isn’t your thing I wouldn’t recommend. I have the BR540 one and it really lasts. The diptyqe ones are also good.
I find them great for layering if you want to do two different scents without them both being too loud.

Thank you, I will try this!
I got that one too recently and thought the same. I bought it because when I used the tester I could still smell it on myself when I was tucked into bed for the night.I know it’s popular, but I bought YSL Libre EDP a few days ago because I do like the smell. Funnily enough I got a compliment from someone asking what I was wearing the day I after I posted this. I couldn’t smell it, but other people obviously could so I think it’s true we can go nose blind.I got that one too recently and thought the same. I do think I just get nose blind to a scent after using it a couple of times though, and it probably does last. I picked up a jumper from my cupboard and could still smell the perfume on it from a few days ago, so I wouldn't fret.
Boots are doing dupes of the sol de janeiro sprays for £4/5 which are apparantly very similar to the more expensive sprays.Sotd - Memo Marfa. Not sure I am that keen but it was in a beauty box so didn't technically buy it.
Finally tried out Zara perfumes the other week. I got Applejuice which I loved in store but it just isn't lasting on me so using it as more of a body spray. My daughter chose Red Vanilla. She wants Sol de Janiero for her school bag but it is a bit ££ for an 11 year old and I don't trust her not to lose it tbh.
2 of my absolute faves!!I was wafting through duty free this week (living the dream, haven’t flown for over a decade) and decided to spritz myself with Clinique Happy because I’ve never tried it and always wanted to. Whenever I’ve been past a Clinique counter over the past few years there’s never been a tester available. Anyway, thought it was a lovely holiday scent and at £19.99 it was a bargain. To me it smells SO similar to Tommy Girl.
When did they change it? I bought it for one of the kids ages ago but stocked up on three bottles as I kkkw they love it, but they have had them all now.Still can't work out how I feel about Glossier You!
