I mostly buy from discount sites so I agree.
I'd like the option to treat myself to a newly released perfume as and when I please (looks at Prada Paradoxe), but when it's £50-60 for 30ml I have no choice but to wait 6+ months for it to reach Notino, All Beauty etc. Or someone's cast off on ebay.

Has anyone else noticed that the amount has also changed? No longer 100 ml but 80 or 90mls in a bottle.
looked at splurging on the PDM Valaya but tbh 75mls for £230 is ludicrous !

I think a lot of the cheaper versions are better than the niche - Tom Ford / Zara cherry Smoothie is an example. The Zara version is identical and lasts twice as long as TF.
Got my wedding perfume and was influenced by this thread. I got Delina from PDM. I tried the Exclusif and La Rosee but the Delina suited my skin the most (after going back and forth to try them all so many times!). Gonna wear it on my hen do in a couple weeks then for the wedding next month

Any recommendations for a nice gourmand / vanilla perfume for Autumn/Winter? I want something strong that has longevity. I bought Jean Paul Gaultier La Belle le Parfum recently hoping that would be the one, but I’m a bit disappointed. It has a definite Patchouli note to me, even though that isn’t officially listed as a note, and I hate Patchouli. Also, it’s described as a “beast” in terms of longevity and sillage, but not on me

I just bought some Givenchy L’Accord Particular. I have some already, it’s my special occasion perfume- I’ve had my current bottle about 2 years or so and it’s still going strong but it’s v v expensive- and the only place I’ve seen it is in Harrods.

I rediscovered a sample of Diptyque Eau Duelle and with autumn on the way... I want it! Oh why couldn't I rediscover it before they raised the price to £148 for 75ml? 
It was always pricey but i think it was £110 or £120 before.
I still would have had to really think about it, but it'd be a less expensive consideration.

I acquired a sample of this from somewhere and it’s definitely next on my list. (I’ve told myself I have to finish a current opened perfume before I’m allowed anymore )
