I make a vegan ‘tuna’ Mayo that’s lovely on a jacket potato! Mashed chickpeas, vegan mayo, lemon juice, red onion, sweet corn, capers, finely chopped nori and some dill.
I also love a bean chili on top too

‘Loaded’ potato, which is bacon, cheese, sour cream and spring onion. Ooooh I could go for that right now, even though I’ve just had my dinner!

Baked sweet potato with brie and caramelised red onion chutney if I'm feeling fancy 😋

Tend to have taco beans on a normal baked potato and haven't got bored of it yet

Cheese (cheddar), more cheese, a lot more cheese then just a bit of cheese.😋
Agreed!

To be honest any jacket topping which doesn't involve cheese is just lacking somehow 😂 In this house it's always 'what do you want on a jacket? - cheese and...'

I'm also having these a lot recently. I love loads of melted cheddar and then about half a tub of finest coleslaw - I like it really chunky with thick mayo.

My husband likes cheap tinned mince and gravy with beans, proper comfort food.

Just cold baked beans (black pepper/vinegar)
I feel heard! I told everyone at work to try vinegar on beans and they acted like I’d shit in the mircowave!

Has to be lashings of butter, beans and cheese for me - I genuinely don’t think I’ve ever tried anything else on a jacket 🤣

I'm going through a phase of having jacket potatoes for lunch every day, but i'm getting bored with my usual tuna mayo topping and need some inspiration!
What is everyone's favourite jacket potato topping?

Leftover bolognese with cheese is nice.
How do you cook your jackets? Olive oil and rock salt rub is great.

Cheese and chopped spring/red onion or even caramelised onion
Chicken mayo salad
A stew with any lentils/chickpeas/beans/peppers/veg etc in chopped tomatoes with lots of herbs/spices (can be done in the slow cooker as well)
Mushrooms and bacon in a quick creamy sauce (Philadelphia with garlic and parsley works!)
Broccoli/Cauliflower cheese

Omg jacket potatoes are the BEST!

Chicken, bacon, sweetcorn & red onion in mayonnaise (all diced up like a sandwich filling) with lashings and lashings of cheese 😬😬

Oooh love a jacket!
Leftover ratatouille & any cheese
Grated cheddar and big side salad of grated carrot, cucumber, cherry tomatoes, avo, olives etc
If you are feeling indulgent, could do a twice baked jacket

reading this, I don’t know why I don’t eat jacket potatoes as much as I used to do. I love [ not all together] tuna Mayo ( needs something spicy in it) and sweet corn, cheese and coleslaw, chilli and crepe fraiche with a salad, I prefer plain and simple on potatoes, beans are too much fibre for me on a spud, they make my teeth feel funny!
