I’m surprised she doesn’t own a coffee machine… she only drinks filtered coffee ?

nothing grinds my gears more than middle class folks who try so hard to pretend to be working class and almost use it as an aesthetic

That's a taste thing really, I drink pretty much exclusively filtered coffee too tbh, even at coffee shops, I just prefer the taste.

Same here, and for Eve it’s a major upgrade considering she drank instant coffee for years

This reminds me, whatever even happened to Millennial Coffee Club?
Like with everything else, Eve lazily delegated the work rather than put in effort herself to build a respectable brand.

It was run by her management company of grifters, who source all their products from the cheapest, shittiest, most ill-equipped suppliers. As a result, they were able to offer up generic drinking straws and poor-quality hoodies, but it was a coffee shop that couldn't offer coffee. (A lot like how Jack Edwards and Ruby Granger both have stationery companies run by the same management team and neither stationery company sell pens, pencils, or, y'know stationery.)

Her dreams of imitating Emma Chamberlain died on their ass immediately and were never mentioned again.

Also, I don't think she appreciated that she wasn't a millennial and that millennials were becoming uncool

What’s that hat Eve is wearing in her thumbnail of recent video? Why does she look like she’s dressed as a handyman?

Silently folded after boasting about launching actual coffee. Eve has not commented on the coffee launch that never happened.
When you think about it she’s not very successful at following anything through. Her law career, coffee business, consistent YouTube uploads etc

She’s a flaky person

Why is she acting like she's working on anything when she has researchers to do all of the research for her?

Gal, you're just filming yourself regurgitating facts from Wikipedia

I know this has been touched on previously but Eve's insistence on branding herself as some ceiling-shattering working class queer icon is genuinely really frustrating. I get that she's come out fairly recently, but I really fail to see how anything she does is groundbreaking. Inferring that corporate dress-codes are somehow homophobic is just so ridiculous and steers the conversation away from real issues of sexism and homophobia in the legal working world. Also, pretty sure this is common sense but there's no inherent aesthetic to being an out queer woman, forcing yourself to adhere to what TikTok views as 'dressing gay' is no more liberating than dressing any other way.

It's honestly as if she just gives up on a project the second it becomes even slightly difficult

my theory is the whole millennials vs gen z joke started off on tik tok and she was worried about getting roasted (pardon the pun) for the name, the whole project was very girlboss millenial "don't talk to me until I've had my coffee" vibes that gen z kids she's desperately trying to pander to make fun of. I'm also 99% sure she isn't even a millennial lmao.

I really think Eve discussing American legal topics is a bad idea. She's not trained or qualified in US Law, and the system is quite different from the UK.

If I want a legal opinion on US law I look for a US lawyer, not a UK lawyer turned product manager for legal software.

(On that note, https://www.scotusblog.com/ is great for Supreme Court coverage and analysis)

honestly she would be so much better off just making fun vlogs about her life, I'm pretty sure she has enough stuff going on that would be interesting to see, I think her moving vlog was one of her best videos in a while. she is good at making very mundane stuff and everyday life entertaining and aesthetic, that's what I loved about her older videos. wish she would go back to that instead of doing these legal videos she apparently doesn't even do the editing or research for. where's all that creative energy that was apparently so important to her??
