Wow from that job description looks like she’d definitely be managing the box office team, digital engagement officer and outreach officer. I wonder if they’d feel patronised being led by someone younger than them, I think I would regardless of how much theatre specific marketing experience she has!

The other thing is that there is food in the office provided for us that I don’t have to cook, order or make any effort towards making and I think most big law firms also have this.

Jelly, my office stopped the food thing when the pandemic began Ofc you can still order but it takes time and money, while previously we had access to a legit canteen with free breakfasts and snacks.

Out of curiosity what is the standard path of someone that gets a training contract in law? Is it you qualify and just stay at the firm?

If you train in accounting at the big 4, the point about someone leaving within 4 months of qualifying is not out of the ordinary, in fact more leave in the first year of qualifying than stay.

basically a lot of criticism for his obsession with constant productivity, watching movies on double speed to consume content as much as possible

A lot of people have also criticised the fact that he stopped practising medicine during the pandemic - I’ve always personally believed he wanted to study medicine for the glory and status, not to help people or do good

I dunno how it works? Do they take on more trainees than they’ve got jobs for?

They keep the vast majority however the odd few won't be retained, then theres those who choose to leave.

Im sure Eve will stay though.

Yes agreed! She seems much more interested in criminal law than corporate law. It’s becoming more and more apparent that she’s not that down to earth girl and just someone that’s money hungry.
