Is this the agony aunt/ medical problem woman on this morning ?
Oh no, it’s not her next, it’s the equally obnoxious Emma Kenney, if I needed advice I’d ask my cat before this up herself pseudo psychologist .
One of the worst things about covid (well I know not it's not really really) is how often she's popping up

She was always in the Crimes That Shook Britain series, every introduction to her was strangely related to the case... “Psychologist Emma Kenny works with victims of domestic abuse in her clinic”... “Emma Kenny is a psychologist who specialises in honour based killing”... another Jack of all trades, like Jack (though at least she’s qualified?)Thing is, she actually isn’t qualified! She has an undergraduate degree in psychology, and a counselling diploma, that does not make her a psychologist. I actually am a qualified clinical psychologist and I think she is badly misrepresenting the profession and gets involved in so many tv programmes beyond her level of competence and expertise. Some of the things she comes out with I can’t imagine any qualified clinical psychologist saying. The problem is in this country the term ‘psychologist’ isn’t a protected title, whereas ‘clinical psychologist‘ is. So any tv counsellor can call themselves a psychologist and the public is misled as to what their actual qualifications are!
She’s literally like ‘this person has an angry face, which suggests they could be angry’ 
I can't stand her and her botoxed face. But what really annoys me is her constant waving her hands about, so irritating. Probably showing off her long false nails. Another annoying hand waver is Lorraine. She does it so much, she blocks her own face sometimes
So glad I found this thread she bugs the hell out of me with her rubbish ‘advice’. You would think this morning would get a proper psychologist on.

She's not a professional psychologist she's a muppet with an undergrad degree and basic counselling certificate. To become HCPC registered within a chartered division of psychology e.g clinical, you need 4 years undergraduate then either 1 year masters + 2 years supervised practice or a 3 year doctorate. You also need plenty of research experience and voluntary/paid work in mental health
Her husband pipes up on twitter anytime someone tries to argue this valid point that she is NOT a real psychologist..
She's not registered with the British Psychological Society or healthcare professionals council (both regulatory bodies of psychology) yes she's a member of the BABCP but anyone can become a member for £60!

Yep! It can take on average 13 years to become a fully qualified HCPC psychologist! Unfair for Emma to claim she's a "psychologist" when she's not registered with any regulatory body who would hold her to account for her controversial views..

I went through a phase of watching Britain’s Darkest Taboos, it has her on it as well as Keri Nixon and every now and then it would cut to Emma (or Keri) talking about the criminal. Well. I think Keri shows her up massively, Keri is obviously good at what she does and knows what she’s talking about. Emma... hearing Emma by comparison is like nails down a chalkboard - she would constantly repeat what she had just said, but in a different way - or say the complete obvious, exactly as the narrator would say it e.g. ‘he’s controlling, he wants Sharon to do what he wants, he’ll get angry if not.’. I had to stop watching because it was as if i was getting the same information two or three times in the space of a couple of minutes! I even googled Emma Kenny annoying

Vulnerable people are calling into this morning with theirs problems and are trusting her for help. TM should get properly qualified psychotherapist on to help not her and the speakmans. I know Emma has had a hard time personally with her dad taking his life and I wouldn’t wish that on anyone but professionally sorry but she’s rubbish and a phoney.
Ugh just caught her on LBC. She’s bloody awful! Has a nervous laugh which is unfortunate when dealing with people with MH concerns. Thought she was tit so it’s interesting to see she’s not an actual psychologist...

I'm so glad I found this thread I thought I was alone in my distaste for this woman! I completely agree she does not have the qualifications to be using the title Psychologist. Her analysis' are negligent. She just popped up my in my magazine

Glad there’s a thread on her. I find her unbearable. On her Twitter she has been retweeting posts about swine flu hoax and linking it to Covid. Yet she’s been popping up on This Morning throughout the pandemic assuring people’s anxieties about Covid are valid. Make your mind up.
