I am so with you on that, she is so patronising and really tries to come across as holier than thou. I have had to stop watching after hearing her say "oversize tops, little shorts and vans are just my vibe/look" or a variation of that sentence OVER AND OVER.

Ok, I read it. It's really bizarre! Only a few quotes and then pictures of them that have never been posted on social media so obviously Emily provided them. What is she promoting? What was the purpose of it? It was obviously organised by her team. So, so weird.

I don’t understand the point of meeting up with someone if shes so detached from it (her words) yet spent the entire video trying to put him down? Trying to make it seem like she was the better person, yet it just made her seem real bitter and Immature. She also made sure to get Lucy’s reaction on the video, hence why it was set up in that way with Lucy in the background- trying to make it seem a lot more dramatic than it was. Was honestly just done for the views & I mean it’s done better than her other videos have so

I’ve asked this before, but what are they both getting out of this? He hasn’t had a surge in followers and she hasn’t made in main stream media/got any closer to mcfly

I think he got around 40k new followers off of her initially when he put his account on private. He hasn’t had many more since the summer and has stopped putting it on private.

I think she’s convenient for him and makes him believe that he can be younger. He cycles though young girls but generally stays in the relationship for 1-2 years, so I think he’s just one of those guys that’s like to be in a relationship but nothing serious.

I think with her it was the idea of being with any sort of celeb. And being mcfly adjacent. I also think she will use their eventual breakup and milk it for everything it’s worth. In the meantime she gets to say she “lives” in LA. She’s probably hoping for a song about her aswell because she’s so vain and would love to go to a concert and hear HER song The girl is also very messed up and the bit of attention james throws her way occasionally makes her feel special.

The first video in the car park was embarrassing enough but to then go on and do a second one is actually bizarre. Why drag up something that nobody cares about, not once but twice. It’s like when someone is chatting away and nobody is listening but they just won’t shut up.

I do think Jake comes across really well and he seems a lot more mature than when they were together but Emily hasn’t grown up at all. Seems like she’s desperately clutching at straws to gain views because she’s realised her normal content is boring. I think Jake had a lucky escape with her, she’s too far up her own arse to love anyone else as much as she loves herself

She said that Craig guy (one of her managers) was flying out to do meetings with her sooo....we all know what that means!

I would doubt that she has a visa, those things take months to apply for and process plus they cost about £20,000. She's probably hoping that the rules won't apply to her because she's "so Emily" and special. Or she's marrying James for a Green Card!! I'm betting she'll just sit around doing nothing in LA though.

Also in her 'litte sister does my ASOS order' video she mentions she will be with her family at Christmas. She then goes on to say 'obviously, where else would I be?!'. I'm guessing she was probably hoping for an invite to spend Christmas in LA, especially after going on about the tree and how it was their tree (eye roll) in the bath and body works haul. I'm sure she would not hesitate in leaving her family behind if it meant spending Christmas in LA and living up to the 'influencer/my boyfriend's in a band' lifestyle.

So we can safely assume that Emily is looking to move (even just temporarily) to LA to b with James, hence why she let Lucy move in and have that bigger/nicer room - it keeps a security blanket for her at half the price if she is away and Lucy will also look after the place, so win-win for Emily.

But what's weird is how Emily never seems to learn from her mimstakes. She always moves in too quickly with every single boyfriend she has - Jake, Charlie, James .. somehow, she always gives too much and places ALL her eggs in that basket. I am honestly baffled as to how she doesn't see herself making the same mistake over and over again?

I don't see their relationship lasting and tbh I find it extremely fucking creepy of James and her to even be dating.

I feel bad saying this but I don’t think Emily had any friends in school, she used an illness to get out of having to attend because she hated it and then used it as an excuse when she didn’t want to do something, she had Jake Boys running around after her like a puppy for years with her joint issues but they only come up when it suits her.
I think the sister has a similar issue which doesn’t seem to effect her all the time either.
but I wonder if her sister actually has the problem and Emily.....not so much

As someone who's had issues with eating and feeling bad I didnt fit into tiny sizes, that video was horrible. Why brag about the age 10 clothes and stretching them out to show how tiny she is in them because of how big they are on her? Comments saying how lovely she looks and how tiny she is too. I dont really watch her videos anymore, she seems too fake to me. Her swapping diets with her mum was enough to put me off for a while, hating on everything her mum swapped with her. Her videos dont seem to get many views anymore either

I agree. A second video of her wearing children’s clothes! So irresponsible. There are young people who see her as a role model. I used to enjoy some of her videos but I’m done with her. It’s dangerous to put stuff like that out there. I also struggled with an ED for years and if I had watched a video like that as a teen it would have made me feel that I was a failure for not fitting into age 10 clothes. I’m pushing 30 now and doing much better but I still find that kind of thing triggering. I’m really quite upset about this... also on her last 2 posts on Instagram there was only a handful of comments mentioning it... why are more people not shocked by her behaviour?! Is she deleting comments regarding it?
She has such a lovely sensible mum (who I think studied psychology) has she not spoken to Emily about this? About the fact that it could have a negative effect on people.

I wouldn’t even call them friends if I’m honest. Friends on camera sure, but they are too different for it to even come across as authentic and they seem more like close work colleagues than anything else. They live together but you never see them doing stuff together in the flat unless it’s for a main YouTube video. Lucy and the youtubers Syd and Ell do seem like genuine friends and have met each other’s families etc, they haven’t even known each other that long, but they are a lot similar in personality and so their friendships do come across as authentic.
