I think the thing that baffles me most is, she’s made a lot of money from the “job” she does. Enough to live on/invest. She could use this absolute heabreaking situation to strip it all back, excuse my langue but fuck the farmers market, the outfit of the day, the coffee order. She could use her “fame” and following to really make a difference when it comes to pool and water safety. She could do public speaking, she could travel America, hell she could travel the world telling her story (taking accountability that she did not have a pool fence/adequate safety that lead to the awful, tragic death of her beautiful son). She could stop with the meaningless, superficial crap and she COULD make a difference. Even if she saved one child’s life. She could set up a charity in his name running free swim classes for kids, she could do ANYTHING but the superficial fake bullshit that she’s doing right now and this is the exact reason I feel little to no sympathy for him or her, only little Trigg. As a mother to a 2.5 year old and a 12 week old, I am sure I would die myself if anything happened to them. They are everything. Just everything and to lose one of them through fault of my own and my Husbands, I’d never know a seconds peace ever again BUT I could try to prevent another family going through the same by using my social media following for awareness.

Not at all a witch hunt. Just commentary on what she is choosing herself to put out there. She is in 100% control of how she’s being perceived. People are just confused about her behaviour after something so catastrophic, which is understandable.

If I took a shot for everytime Emilie said she's excited, I'd have been passed out on the floor a long time ago.

I'm glad this thread exists. I've been using Reddit and she's successfully managed to get all the snark pages banned!
Or every time she says she's OBSESSED. Pity she wasn't obsessed with pool safety.

I really don’t think you can judge someone for how they are grieving and it certainly doesn’t correlate with how much they care and loved that person. Because trauma like this is just a whole different world you could never understand unless you’ve been through it. We all think we’d know how we’d act but we don’t. She loved her son dearly, you could see that from a mile off. I won’t be judging her. Her posts could be hiding a multitude of things. Next week she may be unable to get out of bed again. I’m glad she’s going to therapy regularly and has gotten professional help. Some of you on here seem to be on a witch hunt….
You can see she idolised Trigg and everyone does grieve differently, however, her actions are questionable.
The fact she’s made content a mere 6 weeks after his death, singing and shopping is a tad disrespectful and distasteful. It can take months/years for something like this to hit you but those first few weeks and months are usually a blur of just surviving and trying to get through the day. Protecting your brand and making happy videos would be the last thing on your mind 🤷🏼‍♀️

In her latest video she says Trigg died from a preventable accident but she also says a few times how she wants to be the best wife she can be and that family (including her husband) is all that matters.

If it wasn't for your arsehole of a husband your son would still be alive!! 😡

That statement is too little too late. It was the first thing she needed to put out, not all the froth and random shit that she has.

And sorry but Trigg's death wasn't an accident. It was neglect. Neglect in terms of parents who didn't want to ruin the look of their garden, let a small child play unattended near this uncovered and unfenced pool and were too busy with their phones to supervise their kids.

Smacks of damage limitation because I somehow imagine she isn't getting the income revenue that she did.

I cannot judge a grieving mother. End of.
This says everything that needs to be said.
It’s not a competition on who grieves or cries for longer… she lost her baby. She is going through an immeasurable pain and she is doing what she needs to do to carry on.

Being kind, you could say that she's in deep denial and just hasn't accepted what happened. When it does hit, she'll collapse like a deck of cards.

Being unkind, she is as shallow as a puddle, has a low IQ and simply doesn't have the emotional maturity/ability to process what has happened. And watching her content, I think I'm heading towards this opinion. Her business/brand is based on superficial shallow fluff and she's followed by like minded individuals.

It's pretty sickening thinking of Christmas coming up, that poor dear boy isn't here to share it with but she'll carry on filming fluff as if her very life depends on it.

When I've heard about toddler drownings before, it's been when the child has secretly slipped out or at a party when there were so many adults present it was assumed that the child was being watched, or when a parent has looked away for a moment... but just not bothering to watch him for a whole 9 minutes in a pool area. Why even let him out!? This case blows my mind! I do feel awful for Brady (not as awful as I feel for Trigg and Emilie, mind)... I don't know how I'd cope if I were in his shoes. It wasn't on purpose, but it really was so unbelievably stupid and irresponsible. I hope he can find peace, because I can't think of much worse than being responsible for the death of your child, whom you loved.

She says in her new video that people have a warped perception of what her life looks like and mistakenly think they know her when they don’t know anything about her. But she is the one constantly saying she loves her followers and misses them, why?? Of course they’re going to believe her. I understand the comments must get to her and I do really believe she is going through an awful time, but her words and actions are so contradictory. After Trigg died, she blamed her followers for being obsessed with her life, driving to her house, looking for the police report etc. And now a couple of weeks later she is sharing her personal life on the Internet again, responding to comments asking her about her medical information (whether she is taking medication etc.) why would you respond to this if you are desperate for your privacy to be respected? She needs to treat this like an actual job, turn off her comments and stop treating her followers like her friends. But she can’t because she’s addicted to social media and people fawning over her “perfect” life

Her job involved exploiting the very thing she lost. Sorry to say, but that’s how it was. Her content revolved around motherhood, family and day to day life etc. Hence why people questioned if she would actually come back to social media

I think if I was a mother and my child died in the hands of their father from a preventable accident I don’t think I’d be able to forgive them, as harsh as that sounds. I just don’t think I could carry on as normal, but that’s just me.

That being said, they both to a point have equal responsibility in this becuase they didn’t install pool fences.

What Brady did was unforgivable and I agree with the police recommending charges of negligence. I also noticed the emotive language of “I was bonding with my newborn”… pathetic attempt at making himself look like dad of the year.

Emilie was gone for 20 minutes. The first time she had left them both with him in their words. Complete and utter disgrace. But on the other hand I see why she’s stayed with him, if she leaves him, she knows she’ll have to leave Teddy with him 50% of the time and no doubt isn’t able to handle that thought.

Their lack of pool safety was astounding, especially considering they live in an area where there is a lot of outreach about the safety needed with kids around pools. I guess it's just another case of people thinking that these freak events won't happen to them.

I just don't get it, they spent months customising every inch of the house before moving in and even had fences around their fucking furniture to stop the dogs going on it but somehow nothing around the pool? She said ages ago that they were going to get a fence. They did have a net but as we see in her videos it was barely ever on. It's such a colossal failure.

The records should not and likely will not be sealed, it sets a dangerous precedent if a millionaire can twist the system to their own benefit.

If you look at the Arizona Department of Child Safety site, they have a public list of children who have passed away from drowning & every parent was investigated for neglect. The state has a responsibility to investigate and then publish its findings publicly. They might seal body cam footage, but that's also a gray area as FOI requests for things like body cam footage are a tool used by the public to ensure that police and other public services are being held accountable where needed - body cam footage has saved cops from accusations of murder and more and equally it's helped to condemn them when needed.

She chose to make her life a spectacle and profit from exposing her son to parasocial weirdos online from birth. When freak crimes/accidents happen, there is often a huge surge in interest. It happens with every single case and this interest was hugely driven by the fact that she vlogged every waking moment of that little boy's life on Tiktok so people instantly went to go and see who they were. In a regular family, this wouldn't happen.

RIP to that sweet boy.

BK is a manchild. He went straight from being mothered by his mother to being mothered by his wife. He was never really a provider, and though he likely enjoyed playing house and having the trappings of his wife’s fame and money, he never really ‘owned’ it for himself. How emasculating that must be, but also what a lazy good-for-nothing bum.

Their lifestyle was so sanitised, and when I watch the tiktoks it’s like watching a game of The Sims play out. I often think that about the US influencers but with them it was especially true.

He only had one job that whole day, and he didn’t even manage it for 20 minutes.

What a tragedy. That poor boy was so let down, and B is lucky that Teddy survived the evening too. Emilie isn’t blameless - they SHOULD have had better pool/outdoor discipline with Trigg… and a fence, obviously - but this wouldn’t have happened on her watch.
This. I also don’t believe this would have happened on Emilie’s watch. A lot of people are insisting it could have because of Brady’s statement that it ‘wasn’t unusual’ for Trigg to be out there alone but he’s been full of half-truths and inaccuracies. If Emilie was really in the habit of letting him wonder about unsupervised next to the uncovered pool then it’s a miracle it took this long for an accident to occur. Of course there’s still responsibility on her part for not taking overall pool safety/security seriously but I just don’t believe this situation would have unfolded whilst the boys were in her care.

if they were poor/lived in a trailer park and her son drowned whilst unattended they would've been arrested I'm sure!

I never understood when people said before the report that Brady is being punished enough by what happened due to Trigg passing away. If it was him that was looking after him regardless of the circumstances he should have been charged imo

I was part of the group that understood she would come back to TikTok as it’s her job bht the video is just so uncomfortable knowing what we know. Watching her wash the baby bottles when there should also be a toddler cup. Hanging up the baby clothes when there should be toddler clothes. These things were so alarmingly missing and it’s so sad. Can’t imagine how she’s had to deal with that. It’s just all so tragic.

She spoke of missing the community she'd created, but those people aren't her friends - they are just voyeurs into her life. A life she painted as one to aspire to. Only that life was tainted - she and her husband put the aesthetics of a garden before the safety of their children and one of them died as a result of that negligence. Cleaning an already abnormally clean house isn't going to keep that community around her for long after the initial curiosity wears off.

As a bereaved mother myself, grief is utterly toxic and can destroy you if you don't get help with it. And she strikes me as someone who isn't from that video.
