Do you know what? I do judge. And I judge her hard.

her come back is insane, and I cannot wrap my head around it at all.
I don’t think an Oscar winning actor could put on the show she’s been putting on.
It’s very unsettling.

I don’t think I’ve ever commented on here but like a few of you, I hadn’t heard of her until I saw the tragic news that Trigg had drowned but as a mother of 2 (2.5 year old and 8 week old) I just cannot fathom her “morning routine” videos etc. I’d rather be dead myself than put a camera up and film myself making breakfast, doing laundry, tidying etc just a few months after my toddler had died. Everything would remind me of that poor baby, I genuinely don’t know how I would carry on. I saw some of her previous videos where he would help feed the dogs in the morning etc and seeing her film herself doing this I’m like surely she’s thinking he should be here with me doing this. I genuinely don’t think I could carry on if I lost one of my children. Let alone get back to my “influencer” job. In fact, I couldn’t ever return to that house. I can’t imagine sitting with a view of the pool that my son drowned in by accident let alone due to negligence of my own doing/my husbands doing. I honestly don’t think she’ll “crash” like a lot of you think, I think she’ll live forever in a state of denial that it was anything more than a freak accident. I grew up with a pool (rare in England I know) but that pool cover was across at all times unless there was an adult actually in the pool with us as kids. I remember moaning that I wasn’t allowed in to swim on my own, I must have been 7 or 8 and I was confident swimmer but no way would my parents allow it and thank god for that. I have family in Miami and their pools have alarmed fences around them. It doesn’t look pretty but it keeps their kids safe and that’s the absolute goal when you have children, to keep them safe from harm. I find it really hard to have sympathy for her when she’s laughing and joking on camera, taking selfies of her outfits etc. it’s a very very weird dynamic. As for her husband, he’d be out of the door so fast his feet wouldn’t touch the ground if my child died on his watch. It’s truly devastating because this was SO preventable. May that sweet boy rest in peace x

I’m physically sick from reading the police report. Wtf was that?! And the lying? Oh wow… he lied in ALL interviews about the death of his son. Wouldn’t you want to assist the police in their investigation as much as possible? Especially if it’s an accident. He’s also extremely dumb as he should have known they would review the CCTV footage since it’s HIS house that’s full of cameras. Why would you lie that you’re on a chair outside watching your son and “very quickly” went in to make a drink when that’s simply not true and can easily be checked. Emilie was gone for 30 MINUTES. He could not watch his own 2 kids for 30 FUCKING MINUTES. What an absolute LOSER! Emily did EVERYTHING in that house. Not only was she the sole breadwinner, she showed herself getting ready while heavily pregnant, waking up Trigg, dressing him, making his breakfast, getting herself ready for filming, all while that loser was fast asleep. She made such a huge mistake marrying this useless human being. What a tragedy. I have a 4 year old daughter and when she’s in the bathtub and I quickly need to run out to get a towel I will literally sprint to the other room as fast as I can and call out her name the whole time to hear if she’s still alive. And this is a bathtub, NOT an uncovered huge swimming pool. And grabbing the towel takes me 30sec. How is it possible to not check on your son for 10 MINUTES?!!!! I’m flabbergasted.

That report is absolutely horrific I don’t know how she can even look at that man.
His son was outside drowning while he was inside watching a sports game and then to lie about it and use the baby as an excuse.
He absolutely should be charged

Have any of them even read what was allowed to be shared from the police report?! Trigg accidentally fell into that pool and kept himself alive for as long as his little body had the strength to tread water - no one came to help him.. he suffered and was scared and fighting for his life alone for about 8 minutes, how can they celebrate and toast thanksgiving looking out on where all that happened? The dogs were the only ones who noticed Trigg had fallen in ffs. (Unless she’s had the pool filled in and that’s what the landscapers were for?)

BK is a manchild. He went straight from being mothered by his mother to being mothered by his wife. He was never really a provider, and though he likely enjoyed playing house and having the trappings of his wife’s fame and money, he never really ‘owned’ it for himself. How emasculating that must be, but also what a lazy good-for-nothing bum.

Their lifestyle was so sanitised, and when I watch the tiktoks it’s like watching a game of The Sims play out. I often think that about the US influencers but with them it was especially true.

He only had one job that whole day, and he didn’t even manage it for 20 minutes.

What a tragedy. That poor boy was so let down, and B is lucky that Teddy survived the evening too. Emilie isn’t blameless - they SHOULD have had better pool/outdoor discipline with Trigg… and a fence, obviously - but this wouldn’t have happened on her watch.

Everything has been making her SO HAPPY lately! It’s honestly mindblowing. Also the reference to “helicopter parents” in her statement is so telling. Emilie, there is a HUGE spectrum between helicopter parenting and leaving your toddler by a deep pool unattended while not checking on them for 10 MINUTES!!!

Whilst their situation is not one I have ever gone through myself, I am certain that if my husband’s neglect caused one of my children to die then I would never ever ever be able to forgive him or move past that. I would absolutely divorce him and insist on supervised contact with any other children. I just don’t understand how she is so…ok with everything? I do think they’ve basically convinced themselves it was some unavoidable freak accident to make it easier for them to process. Rather than what it actually was.

The report is so incriminating. I didn't expect Brady to have not watched Trigg outside whatsoever and then to have lied so much. Wow.
I hope this serves as a lesson to others that it doesn't matter if your child knows not to enter the pool without you, accidents happen and an uncovered pool is a fucking death trap.

She mentions her "enduring right to privacy" but nothing about Trigg's right to privacy when he was alive.

I think she’s really immature and that sums her up and her decision to still stay with him. When I saw her do the Taylor Swift scrapbook thing it dawned on me, she’s like a 16 year old really. Cutting up photos of the Eras Tour and gluing them into a scrapbook with glitter and hearts a mere few months after your son died. It’s giving stunted.

I wouldn't be able to stay with my husband after this. Yes, she is also responsible for pool safety and they were both negligent by not having a pool fence, even when pointed out to them a number of times. But to know he let Trigg play outside alone, near the pool, knowing he couldn't swim and didn't watch him for 10 minutes makes me feel sick to my stomach. What if he hadn't spotted the dog behaving oddly?. How much longer would it have been?. I don't buy the "bonding with my newborn" bullshit, he was obviously watching a game that he had placed a bet on otherwise why couldn't he have fed the baby outside whilst supervising Trigg playing?. Unforgivable.

There was a news item a few days ago here in the UK about a dad who went driving with his 14 year old son as a passenger. The dad was high on cocaine which he knew triggered his epilepsy, his doctors had told him not to drive, he was neither insured nor licenced to drive. The boy died but the dad survived and was jailed for 10 years.
I honestly don’t see how this is much different - just totally reckless behaviour. Everyone saying BK has been punished enough etc but parents ARE punished with jail for playing fast and loose with their kid’s life and this should be no different.

This hurts my heart
I have no idea how they could possibly go on together after this.

Usually I feel very sorry for and defensive of parents who lose children to accidents, things like parents who go into autopilot and unintentionally leave their baby in the car or when there is crossed wires about who is responsible or when there is a genuine distraction and lasp of attention. I really think it can happen to anyone. However in this case it just seems like total neglect on Brady’s part :( I read it was the FIRST TIME she was out with friends since the baby? And within 20 minutes their toddler had drowned. He KNEW he was outside, he knew he hadn’t bothered to put the cover on the pool which would have taken 10 mins, it also seems he wasn’t actually a strong swimmer which Brady also knew. His wife had literally just left and he was already ignoring his toddler and watching a basketball game he had placed a bet on. I saw someone point out on Reddit he could have easily just told Trigg to come inside and play, but clearly he was happy being undisturbed with his game.

Ive been through traumatic grief at 21(my sister murdered) and 2 weeks later I was at a nightclub and a month later back at college... trauma messes your brain up so much and the way to process and cope can seem crazy to people. In hindsight I dunno how I even got up out of bed those first few days but somehow I did. My heart breaks for her 💔 but none of us can judge how a grieving person copes.

Being generous, I can see how it would feel frightening to not only lose your child, but as a consequence, lose your livelihood as well. That is one of the many weird and hideous things about influencer culture; you have to be constantly present and selling yourself.

I think if she sells her lifestyle to the internet for a living I can see how she would feel trapped and like she had to “show up” as this person because otherwise, what will she do? Start some new random job? I don’t know enough about her and her story to know if she even could do anything else, but I suppose she might feel afraid to lose her career which she may have worked (hard-ish?) to build.

that being said, I have NO idea why she isn’t being authentic, although perhaps it is just way too soon for her to confront it publicly, maybe even privately. It’s devastating and I can sympathise with her predicament, even if it’s not what I would do. But then I would never ever ever share any of my life on the internet for cash, the idea repulses me.

the whole thing is just so very very sad. Perhaps it would be completely different if she didn’t have another baby to take her mind off it.
yeah, I don’t know if it’s because I’m older or because I’m in the UK or a combo of both but I would absolutely do the ‘random job’ over what she’s doing. I think she’s got used to a certain way of living and she is going to keep doing it regardless. It’s unfathomable to us because we are repulsed by it.

It’s tragic, repulsive, sad, devastating yet morbidly fascinating. It’s absolutely Black Mirror played out in real life and real time. I wouldn’t be EK for all the tea in China but also I think, well, just sell your house and get a bungalow and maybe a nice quiet job in marketing or something. She doesn’t HAVE to do it and yet she is. At this point I think it’s an addiction.

I really don’t think you can judge someone for how they are grieving and it certainly doesn’t correlate with how much they care and loved that person. Because trauma like this is just a whole different world you could never understand unless you’ve been through it. We all think we’d know how we’d act but we don’t. She loved her son dearly, you could see that from a mile off. I won’t be judging her. Her posts could be hiding a multitude of things. Next week she may be unable to get out of bed again. I’m glad she’s going to therapy regularly and has gotten professional help. Some of you on here seem to be on a witch hunt….
