I don’t think she’s on meds but she’s having a lot of therapy, from what she said in a recent video, I think it’s ACT - Acceptance and Commitment Therapy for PTSD. Also the staying busy: driving to the store, buying a coffee plus her embroidery/sewing projects. Rinse and repeat. ACT is meant to keep you in the present by accepting the past. It doesn’t work for some people and they eventually reach a breaking point.

I think she has externalised the blame in order to avoid feeling any guilt for what was essentially a massive duck up of their own doing. You can see it in how she has stopped sharing Teddy and her husband now and is very selective on what she shares in the house. It’s like she’s making these changes as a response to what happened, as if Trigg died due to the outside world being over invested or something and not their own stupidity and carelessness. Her response when she came back on was that she won’t be sharing some aspects of her life now, almost as a punishment to her followers after the death. I think she has rationalised the whole thing in a warped way. I doubt she has taken any accountability at all. She is also an extremely shallow and superficial person and what makes her thrive everyday is getting out of the house doing materialistic tit, whereas for most of us all of that stuff would cease to matter if we lost a child. But hey, at least she’s coping 🤷🏼‍♀️

I’m unsure how anyone could possibly give a duck about table scapes, thanksgiving dinners, linen, clothes and whatever else when their child drowned 6 months ago, I know it’s ’her Job’ and ‘we don’t see her whole day’ and ‘she only shows what she wants us to see’ and ‘she has another child to look after’ but this isn’t healthy, she’s acting as if it never happened, it’s really bizarre, but I haven't lost a child (thank god) so maybe I just don’t know how I’d be if I did, I just think social media has altered a lot of people’s brains and makes them act weirdly tbh

I agree, but on the other hand, you can already tell that she’s too addicted to the external validation to keep this up. Anyone else in her place would have just completely removed her second baby from her content but she’s already sharing the noises he makes, his little feet etc. I’m absolutely convinced she will show his face again, this is all temporary. I don’t think Brady will ever want to show his face again though, he’s afraid of the backlash

I understand her posting content for social media is her job, but equally, if my child had passed away I absolutely would not be back at work like nothing had ever happened 4 months later. I know I would take a long time off and then when I eventually did go back to work, I’m certain it would be obvious that I wasn’t going round acting like everything was fine.

Not saying she needs to lock herself away in a dark room grieving for all eternity, but just seem a bit more human about it. She’s like some weird robot

I also think if I was Emilie I couldn’t go back to my vapid content creation knowing that my engagement will go up because my child is dead, people sat there wondering ‘when is Emily gonna post again’ etc. trauma tourism at the expense of my dead child, no way could I do that. I agree with others that she hasn’t fully processed the fact that he is gone and never coming back. That’s quite a tricky thing to process tbh she needs to give herself more time, she doesn’t appear to need the money, I’d have to sell the house and buy something smaller and just get a normal job and be a normal person

Have any of them even read what was allowed to be shared from the police report?! Trigg accidentally fell into that pool and kept himself alive for as long as his little body had the strength to tread water - no one came to help him.. he suffered and was scared and fighting for his life alone for about 8 minutes, how can they celebrate and toast thanksgiving looking out on where all that happened? The dogs were the only ones who noticed Trigg had fallen in ffs. (Unless she’s had the pool filled in and that’s what the landscapers were for?)
8 minutes is such an incredibly long time

I think I’d just be unable to stop thinking about those 8 -10 minutes ever again

There is always the chance that she's self medicating too. You can get so much over the counter in the US compared to here.

I think the thing that baffles me most is, she’s made a lot of money from the “job” she does. Enough to live on/invest. She could use this absolute heabreaking situation to strip it all back, excuse my langue but duck the farmers market, the outfit of the day, the coffee order. She could use her “fame” and following to really make a difference when it comes to pool and water safety. She could do public speaking, she could travel America, hell she could travel the world telling her story (taking accountability that she did not have a pool fence/adequate safety that lead to the awful, tragic death of her beautiful son). She could stop with the meaningless, superficial crap and she COULD make a difference. Even if she saved one child’s life. She could set up a charity in his name running free swim classes for kids, she could do ANYTHING but the superficial fake bull that she’s doing right now and this is the exact reason I feel little to no sympathy for him or her, only little Trigg. As a mother to a 2.5 year old and a 12 week old, I am sure I would die myself if anything happened to them. They are everything. Just everything and to lose one of them through fault of my own and my Husbands, I’d never know a seconds peace ever again BUT I could try to prevent another family going through the same by using my social media following for awareness.

Do you think the books have been purposely turned the other way for the photo?
Yes. Maybe for aesthetics or maybe because it would be confusing in terms of the caption and lead people to wonder why those specific books meant so much to her. Emilie is ALWAYS thinking, except when it comes to…. well…. at this point I don’t need to say.

I can’t imagine how awful it’d be to have such a tragedy happen, and I was rooting for her to cope, but I read the police report the other day. So much trauma took place in that house that day - and reading the report from stating where in the house Trigg’s body lay, to the helicopter landing outside.
I’ve no idea how I’d cope with such an unspeakable tragedy - but I’m pretty sure that I wouldn’t be hosting thanksgiving and faffing about with placemats in the exact spot where my son lay unconscious and fighting for his life!

Thanksgiving how do. I’d be eaten alive with grief and despite having a baby to live for, I’d have very little to feel thankful about.
