Why is it the likes of Em Clarkson HAVE to have an opinion about everything topical? I wish I had the headspace to be on a soapbox about everything but juggling family, running a home and full time working means my brain is at capacity most of the time
Exactly this. I generally like Em but I keep finding myself thinking for duck sake, what has she got a bee in her bonnet about now?! It’s exhausting.
She says she goes through the negative comments on her posts, looks at who has liked those comments, and blocks them if they follow her. Tell me you don’t have a job (or life) without telling me…
And of course anyone who agrees with a comment that Em doesn’t like is blocked - all these influencers are the same. Can’t stand someone having a contradicting opinion!

Her most recent rant has really annoyed me. Firstly, does she even need to breathe?! But honestly, I’m not entirely sure what makes her qualified to speak like that about topics that are not ever going to impact her.
The point she made about breast feeding women, didn’t her own father compare it to urinating in public and it should be done in a little room?! Given the fame that gives her that platform is derived from that man, she really is bold! Oh and not to mention her private boarding school education!
She got mightily offended when a man cat called her or something while out exercising with her baby. Not to start on *that* topic, but there are entire areas of my city that are now not safe to go to because of a certain hotel. It’s next to a popular running & dog walking route and I was chased by 3 males. 3!!! Nobody goes there now. She has privilege she doesn’t ever acknowledge!

Because as soon as they are given some constructive criticism they shut it down. Influencers genuinely believe they’re on some kind of higher plain than the rest of us mere mortals. That is another level of sadness though. It’s never healthy to surround yourself with a bunch of yes men. That’s why these influencers end up so entitled

She must be an absolute nightmare to live with. Crying because people disagree with her interview yet she sure loves dishing it out when she doesn’t agree with something. Also the oversharing on pelvic floors and periods is just cringe. Saying it’s to spread awareness…of what? Private health insurance?
Can’t hack it when people don’t like/agree with something she’s done, so has to have a big woe is me whine so she gets a load of DMs telling her how great she is. And still banging on about the grief she’s getting for her political posts - she knows EXACTLY what she was doing with those, she’s desperate for attention (of any kind) and has to keep redrawing attention to those posts as they are probably the only thing she’s posted that’s got any real engagement. She thinks she’s so outspoken and controversial and brave, but there are loads of people calling out the stuff she is. People are just fed up of her jumping on every bandwagon when she doesn’t have any real life experience.
100% this!! Not to make this political at all, you do you and vote for who you believe in but if she just did a little bit of actual research or just use Chat GPT like normal people but no, because getting actual facts wouldn’t support her echo chamber …

Like I said, I’m not pulling this all into a political debate. I reckon half the issue is she’s rebelling against her Dad because she knows he doesn’t mince his words and over the years has said some quite controversial things (rightly or wrongly) including about breastfeeding - which she is the only person to have ever done, ever.
Never used to mind her but she’s so ‘woe is me’ whilst not having to work and coming from a place of privilege. Just have a day off Emily - you’re losing a lot of followers with your constant need to set the record straight and champion causes whilst clearly not accepting any other opinion could possibly be valid.

coming from a town where grooming gangs have been a massive scandal I do understand peoples concerns. She is saying it’s all being ‘misrepresented’ as illegal immigration which she may well have a point with but she needs to understand not everyone has had the privileged private education she has had and will be less able to pick up the nuances. If she was that bothered about educating people she would engage with them not label them racist bigots for having concerns

Exactly this! I feel like messaging her but I don't want to end up doxxed - we live right next door to a hotel and there have been no end of things happening including residents fraudulently using addresses to claim bank cards, constant smell of cannabis, litter everywhere, constant noise throughout the night and there has been incidents if sexual assault, assualt, shoplifting and women being followed all that have been reported the police. Don't get me wrong its not all of those living there but she is sat in her bubble with none if these issues impacting her its easy to say!It really does feel like she thinks she’s the only person ever to give birth and breastfeed!

It’s making me so annoyed!And now shes complaining it's all too much - if you go online and talk about controversial subjects you are going to generate conversation- i don't ever agree with people posting threats/abusive but she cant seem to have healthy debate or look at both sides if an argument (which she coincidentally argued on the Lilly P podcast). As an influencer/podcaster you open yourself up to this by doing the job, if you cant take this maybe it isn't the right job for you. Why is the person who decided to unfollow her trash? That’s a vile thing to say. IF the stuff about women being assaulted or worse by immigrants is a false narrative (and I’m not saying it is), why is Em so offended by this person, why not reply and point them in the direction of proven facts. She thinks she’s such an educator on this (and sooo many other topics she rants on about daily), but she’s deluded. Shes just another influencer, sat in an echo chamber, blocking people, and posting abusive stories calling them trash, when they don’t agree with her.
She’s a lot like her dad in some ways. Arrogant and always assuming they’re right. No time for other people and their opinions and thoughts.

I unfollowed her as well, didn’t announce my departure but couldn’t even hate follow anymore!!
