I actually think she’s right about her digital footprint. Whilst I don’t think it’s wrong for aspiring actors, singers or Westend performers to have a social media presence, I do think you have to be very careful with what you post and I think a producer or director would struggle to take her seriously.

She’d be smart to use the money from Tiktok to pay for voice lessons and possible theatre school and then disappear offline to live her life quietly. That won’t happen though because despite what she says, she enjoys the notoriety and relies on gifts for income. I think she also believes she’s quite famous and would be a great stunt casting for the show.

This is the problem with social media when you’re so young, you don’t necessarily have the tools to be able to see how it might affect your life in the future. I would HATE to have had 18 year old me prancing about on the internet for the world to see. Thank god social media wasnt as prominent then

Haha yup! When I got my first ‘proper’ job I deleted my old social media accounts and started from scratch.

1000% agree!! It must be a horrible situation to be in but realistically apart from Jack she has nobody else to be around and she’ll want the company, Even though her mum is the way she is she’ll view her as still her mum and want too be around her, But she’s pure chatting tit to Elphaba and you can tell she’s super uncomfortable… feel really bad for her just now to be fair!

Oh I saw the flinch but didn’t realise it was because her mum was close. It does seem quite volatile. Hopefully if she is scared or worried for her safety she’ll get herself out.

the sad part is elph seems nice and friendly as a person, immature yes but it’s common when you haven’t had a good stable upbringing. her mum is a nasty witch, elph seems to flinch and be very submissive to her words.

i’m no expert but it seems likely her mum hits her or has done many times in the past. it just aggravates me how it’s ridiculously hard to adopt a child but poor children across the country and raised and stay in these shithole environments that set them up to fail.

she’s so horrible to her i feel so bad for her. she’s in one of those toxic environments where you can’t do right for wrong.

i think she’s said she can’t do her battle at 8pm because her mum refuses to go out and she’s being nasty as duck. it’s not quite on the same level but if anyone has seen the movie precious, it’s that kind of mother/child environment.
