In the Uk, if a home is mortgaged and in 2 people’s names, then the house automatically is paid off should one die and the partner left becomes sole owner, this happens on both an endowment mortgage or interest agreements. ( I assume I they didn’t buy outright)
Meaning the house would be now paid complete and owned by Ellidy in her full right.
Is this different to Australia ?

No one is saying she's not grieving, or missing Chumpy.

It just seems a bit like Minnie is a bit of a band-aid for that grief. As is her inability to be alone.

Its obvious that Minnie is loved by Ellidy, and others. But I don't agree with all of her parenting choices - especially things that are unsafe. And I wonder how her current lifestyle goes once Minnie is older and at school. Or when the Fishers have their own children. Ellidy can't travel with them indefinitely....

I really hope so, I know some people find their lifestyle crazy / controversial, I quietly love them I really want them to fulfill their dream to be parents, I’ve been where Chloe is, infertility/ baby loss is a terrible time, I hope there is a baby coming their way soon.
I wonder how it will change the dynamics with Ellidy & Minnie?
Do the Fishers pay for all these trips for Ellidy?

It’s incredibly sad, they would be lush parents. But at least the door isn’t closed if they can get a surrogate.
It’s ironic that Chloe has the beautiful relationship and no baby, yet Ellidy has the baby but no relationship.

It’s really gross how they all use Minnie. The Fishers carrying her in the golf cart so it looked cute in the footage (cart following was a camera man). Taking her backstage then dragging her out to wave to the crowd.

Interestingly, that last clip with Fisher jiggling her to the music shows that 99% of the Aussie audience were completely disinterested.

She’s not an accessory! Her existence is not to bump user engagement! I find it all very sad.

Minnie is like a product they all have to promote and make money from.

This is all weird. If Ellidy didn’t allow Fisher to exploit her and Chloe to play pretend mum with Minnie would they let her travel all over with them? I doubt it.

Again I'm shocked at how this procedure was legal. I don't think she has an ulterior motive to lie about them wanting a baby and trying to conceive, but how does that hold up legally? So does this mean if anyone else's partner dies and the female partner comes forward and asks to retrieve their sperm cos she says they were trying for a baby and bought a couple of Bonds baby singlets, the dead person's parents just have to sign a form and then the deceased's baby could be in the world in 9 months? What are the rules for this?

It’s an ethically murky scenario isn’t it. I guess unless it’s in a persons will expressly consenting to sperm retrieval in the event of their untimely death.. it does feel off. I understand the sentiment of it all, but yeah would you want your partner to have your child after you’ve passed? It’s not the same as having and raising a child together. He now has no input into Minnie’s raising.. it’s tricky.
