I’ve been making an effort lately to drink more water but I’m getting fed up of plain water and I’m beginning to go off flavoured water too 🙈 does anyone use electrolytes or anything similar?

Ideally something that I can drink throughout the day instead of having to down it, I’ve had a google but can’t see anything that’s got good reviews and also searched TikTok and see people advertising them saying they’re the best thing ever but then the comments say otherwise 🤣

Hello ive been using electrolytes for past 2 months consistently I use Humantra sugar free you get 20 sachets in them, various different flavours you can pick. For me personally I found energy levels & mental sharpness increased. Would highly recommend to anyone willing give it a try.

Do you need the electrolytes? I drink a fair amount during the day but I drink squash. I don't tend to drink a lot of plain water .

Yeah i would say if you're not doing heavy sweaty exercise, electrolytes are not needed and could be harmful if you have too much, especially if they aren't properly balance like a lot of the ones on the market arent. And if youre gonna have any its more of 1 serving per day so not something to have all day. Electrolytes are not a juice and shouldn't be used as such.

After exercise or when I’ve been particularly hot and sweaty, I’ll have liquid IV hydration sachets. Only one per day, unless I’m hiking mountains then I will have 2. You don’t need any more than that. Lucozade sport might be better if you aren’t doing much exercise, or just plain squash/flavoured water.

I like the FourFive electrolyte tablets. They’re sweetened with stevia which I think is better than most which have artificial sweeteners. Often on sale at Holland & Barrett. They’re way cheaper than Humantra, Willpowders etc

I like to have some in a pint of water first thing with unflavoured creatine.

If you want unsweetened then I really rate Elete drops.
