If they had no kids together it wouldn't be as bad, but their son, even though an adult, it's a pity for him if things are going to get weird.
I don't disagree. He'll just have to put his big boy pants on won't he. Eamon and Ruth decided long ago to sell their souls for money by exposing themselves and their marriage to the public. Not our fault it's turned to tit. I'm sure their son is enjoys a comfortable life on the back of them selling-out their privacy to the highest bidder. As I said, I hope it gets really bitter. I read the other day that Eamon said Ruth had teeth like a camel. That's exactly the kind of pathetic, hurtful insult I'm looking for. 😬🐫

No show again on GB News this morning. Seems to go into hiding when the press have a dig at him.

Yeah, it's no surprise he has back problems considering how spineless he is. The Schofield thing was a good example ... he went on TV slagging-off Phil (which of course I enjoyed) and ITV and Holly etc. etc. But he still took ITV money and played the game for years. I find he is a principled man, when it suits him. Let me reiterate ... I don't care either way, I'm just here for the tawdry tattle. 😬

2 years away from pension age puts him almost in that age bracket, the one as I tried to explain, and his Irish heritage that may mean he has old fashioned values in the sex department.
Also, having myself had to take on the role of full time carer to someone I wasn't related to makes me feel a bit sad to read comments mentioning his ill health may be the reason for the split. I don't think most couples are that heartless or if they are it's disappointing. Marriage or not, to leave someone when they are most vulnerable is cruel. It's a tough gig and if roles were reversed you may find yourself alone but that's no excuse or reason.
My thoughts are that his ill health made her stay longer, the marriage was breaking down before then. It’s never one thing is it, usually fairly complex.

This finding emails from another woman thing seems out of character for Eamonn. As you say, his Irish upbringing means he is quite straight laced in many things and I really can’t see him having an affair.
He had been divorced for 2 years before he started seeing Ruth and even then wouldn’t be photographed with her in case it upset his ex wife, children and family.

People change and the straight laced ones are the ones to keep an eye on.

I've heard that called the pendulum effect ... where you are so one way for so long, when you change you swing wildly in the other direction. I don't really think Eamon is like that and also it wouldn't surprise me if he recieved emails from various odd women and either doesn't read them or delete them. Who knows. Looking at another relationship is like looking at a map through a straw, you only see a tiny fraction of the landscape.

I don’t really follow Eamon or Ruth but the few times I had seen him I got the impression he was a right flirt. Of course that doesn’t mean he’ll act on it.

Knew when the tabloids were all pushing for the "Cruel Ruth didn't want to care for frail old Eamonn" stories that it was just Eamonn's PR people getting in there first before the real story came out .

I really want Ruth to come out and say that sex with her new toyboy is amazing and she feels 25 years younger. Eamon will blow a bleeping fuse. :ROFLMAO:

Ha, yes I saw a clip of that 🤣 The other guests/presenters were aghast. You do make a good point about the lifestyle of celebs and their offspring afforded by living lives in public eye.

With a lot of these celeb men, if they get a flirty vibe from someone on social media, they'll be flirty back, depending on how overt it is. But if they don't, then they'll be respectful, as they won't want to be the one to initiate, in case the person goes to the papers complaining that they're a "sex pest". However sometimes people don't realise they're being flirted with and they think the person is just being kind. When a story like this comes out, it does make one look back and wonder about motivation etc.

Yes, Irish men are so straight laced, sure they wouldn't dream of having an affair. 😂

A three hour session with his ‘facialist’ 😱
Either something dodgy going on, or she needs to retrain for something else 😂
I mean, not to be rude, but he doesn’t look like he has three hour facials does he? 😝

Perhaps she was the one receiving the facials?!?
