Who else was at this audience with the President?
I wonder what the lead-in time was for it to be arranged? These things aren't scheduled within a few weeks.
Upon which day of girlhood did the invitation arrive for Dylan Mulvaney?

Deluded twat. Piss off with your sexist, misogynistic tropes. And the handmaidens all lapping it up in his comments can do one.

I have never seen anything so cringe. If a woman said this online they would be flamed in the comments. I’m sure he is getting lots of flattery and encouragement.

Women also don’t describe themselves as ‘look like they could steal a husband’ as a good thing.

The thing about Dilly is he’s making his transition his whole personality. I’m sure he has other talents - he can sing a bit, was apparently an actor, and as much as I hate to say this, he has the potential to be funny. But he appears to have nothing else in his life but all the superficial crap like impractical stereotypical ‘female’ clothes, make up, stupid heels. Does he not realise that being a woman doesn’t mean that’s all there is? We are out in the world studying, working, running businesses, raising kids, keeping a house, helping elderly parents, doing a whole list of productive things getting through this thing called LIFE. He says he’d love to be a 50s housewife (only a man would say that). But the reality of that is totally shit, suffocating and boring. The guy doesn’t even cook! I can’t imagine him scrubbing toilets with 5 inch heels on. Every single thing about him is offensive to me as a woman, and I don’t offend easily. I just wish people would ignore him and his insane male privilege!!

Kinda annoying how rather than discuss their content, this thread is just another echo chamber of the gender discussion thread. Does anyone know which surgery was done? It's a very quick turn around transition time, so I'm guessing all been privately funded through tiktok and the other stuff?
Looks like he got a rhinoplasty, and brow and jaw bone shaved. I can’t wait to see how botched he looks..
I think bit of discussion about differing views on transgender issues is to be expected on any trans creators thread, but we really do not need pages worth of arguments about it tbh. There’s a reason why there is a blanket ban on gender discussion in general on certain threads (eg jack monroe), as it just ends up derailing the thread and neither side ever ends up changing anyone on the other sides mind.
There will never be a 100% consensus on stuff like pronouns and don’t think it’s fair to demand people to repeatedly explain their views over and over again, and tbf this is the whole reason the gender thread was set up, so that people could discuss these things without it taking over other threads.
This thread isn’t comparable to Jack Monroes because Jack’s gender identity is just a tiny and mostly irrelevant part of her online exploits, and no one really hates her for her views on women or trans issues alone. Dylan has chosen to make his entire online presence about his gender, pronouns and speaking on behalf of women so obviously the gender wars is what’s going to be what is spoken about on his thread.

the way I see it, anyone who uses female pronouns for a pervert like Dylan might as well just start a rave thread. Even if you don’t like him, calling men like him “she” is giving them exactly what they want and feeding into their delusion lol

That’s the problem - a lot of people now seem to be unable to fathom that you can agree with people on some things but disagree with them, sometimes a lot, on others. This never used to be a problem until people started spending too much time on the Internet.
Everyone seems to voluntarily put themselves in ‘teams’ now, like left/right or Brexit/antiBrexit. I’ve left a lot of the left-leaning groups on Facebook now because they’ve become increasingly regimented in terms of what you are allowed to believe. If you don’t believe in gender ideology, don’t believe ‘sex work is work’, don’t go on about Corbyn like he was the second coming of Christ, don’t think drag queens should be prancing about in front of infants or any number of other punishable transgressions then there are very few groups you can be in now, even womens groups aren’t free of it.
And unfortunately the only people that are looking into the backgrounds of people like Mulvaney and other trans identifying men are right wing commentators because everyone else is too chickenshit to risk social exile and castigation. So long as the information checks out, I’m still interested in hearing it.

My daughter has a friend who is a trans woman in her 20s. She told me that her friend always hated being born a man and now lives totally as a woman. So not an on/off like Izzard.

According to her 'trans rights' are about people like her friend having access to HRT and treatment on the NHS. My daughters friend currently has to buy her own HRT online.

While I do feel a bit sorry for her friend, do we think that this should be available free or not 🤔

Years ago the NHS used to do some cosmetic surgery for free (like nose jobs) but I don't know if this is still the case or not.
There's plenty of 'actual women' who can't get HRT, so why should we be giving it to a bloke as a higher priority?

Is Mulvaney the grifter who came out as gay but when that did not gain enough traction he has started this absurd paraody?
Dylan was a gay actor who had a very minor role in the touring production of the Book of Mormon before Covid hit. I didn’t know about the non-binary stuff, but Dylan basically seemed to start the girlhood thing to get attention as his career fell apart. Even on the trans subs, they don’t believe that he is trans, and it has been speculated that him getting older and no longer being seen as a ‘twink’ in the gay community may have played a part in it all. Sort of like when Ellen Page hit a certain age where actresses find it harder to get roles, and needed a publicity boost.

Why does he have to parody women?

Most women , and I include myself do not 'prance' around in role play outfits, a la Audrey Hepburn and Jackie Onassis Kennedy.?

He is bl**dy ridiculous. Women wear trousers Dylan, it's not all about 'the old time movie star glamour'.

We don’t have to role play because we are women.

Exactly. If you were to tell people about the historical practice of castrating little boys before puberty so they had high pitched voices and never became a man they’d be absolutely horrified at such barbaric practices. But tell them the child is ‘trans’ and all of a sudden it becomes ‘empowering’. The end result is the same. It’s the same with ‘binders’ for girls - no different to breast ‘ironing’ in the Cameroon. People have become so unbelievably stupid in the last few years it hurts my brain.

Dylan is a parody of a woman regardless if he means to be or not. The fact that no one can tell if he's really trans or not says an awful lot. The caricature he plays of 'girlhood' is so downright offensive I can't believe he's allowed to get away with it

The way he plays a little girl, and yet proudly displays his bulge. The way living as a girl seems to be talking in a silly voice and wearing pink and heels. I haven't called myself a girl since I was 16!

People like him because he portrays himself as a child but the fact is Dylan is an adult man. And when you look at his actions as those of a man it's just so creepy

I *personally* believe that some people are born with genuine gender dysphoria and require help to become the gender that they feel they “are”.
I do understand that this is a hugely contentious issue, and I don’t believe that this phenomenon is anywhere near as common as it’s currently being made out to be.
However. I do not believe that Dylan has genuine dysphoria. I believe he is a confused young man who has jumped on a convenient bandwagon to get the attention he desires.
I’m not overly interested in a debate on Tattle re trans issues, i understand that people have widely varying views and experiences and I respect that.
Dylan is a washed up twink and mediocre theatre actor. He is peaking many over the trans issue though, which at least is something.

He's making a video of his 'hotness' so that there will be evidence in thousands of years 😃
Wow the narcissisism is off the scale!

Maybe we need a Jeffrey Marsh thread. He’s absolutely vile and I would say dangerous, with the influence he has over young people. Put a bit of sparkly eyeshadow on and you have the queer cloak of power and no one dares challenge him because of tRansPhoBia. It’s scary.

I have met gay guys who I can tell really despise women yet seem jealous of them too. Jeffrey is the next level of that. I should also say for balance I know lots of lovely gay men who are nothing like this!

Does it not seem like it's in really bad taste to monetize your transition? Having a show and selling tickets for it just seems like a slap in a face to the people within this community, especially those who can't afford to transition
