Looks like he got a rhinoplasty, and brow and jaw bone shaved. I can’t wait to see how botched he looks..Kinda annoying how rather than discuss their content, this thread is just another echo chamber of the gender discussion thread. Does anyone know which surgery was done? It's a very quick turn around transition time, so I'm guessing all been privately funded through tiktok and the other stuff?
This thread isn’t comparable to Jack Monroes because Jack’s gender identity is just a tiny and mostly irrelevant part of her online exploits, and no one really hates her for her views on women or trans issues alone. Dylan has chosen to make his entire online presence about his gender, pronouns and speaking on behalf of women so obviously the gender wars is what’s going to be what is spoken about on his thread.I think bit of discussion about differing views on transgender issues is to be expected on any trans creators thread, but we really do not need pages worth of arguments about it tbh. There’s a reason why there is a blanket ban on gender discussion in general on certain threads (eg jack monroe), as it just ends up derailing the thread and neither side ever ends up changing anyone on the other sides mind.
There will never be a 100% consensus on stuff like pronouns and don’t think it’s fair to demand people to repeatedly explain their views over and over again, and tbf this is the whole reason the gender thread was set up, so that people could discuss these things without it taking over other threads.
There's plenty of 'actual women' who can't get HRT, so why should we be giving it to a bloke as a higher priority? My daughter has a friend who is a trans woman in her 20s. She told me that her friend always hated being born a man and now lives totally as a woman. So not an on/off like Izzard.
According to her 'trans rights' are about people like her friend having access to HRT and treatment on the NHS. My daughters friend currently has to buy her own HRT online.
While I do feel a bit sorry for her friend, do we think that this should be available free or not
Years ago the NHS used to do some cosmetic surgery for free (like nose jobs) but I don't know if this is still the case or not.
Dylan was a gay actor who had a very minor role in the touring production of the Book of Mormon before Covid hit. I didn’t know about the non-binary stuff, but Dylan basically seemed to start the girlhood thing to get attention as his career fell apart. Even on the trans subs, they don’t believe that he is trans, and it has been speculated that him getting older and no longer being seen as a ‘twink’ in the gay community may have played a part in it all. Sort of like when Ellen Page hit a certain age where actresses find it harder to get roles, and needed a publicity boost. Is Mulvaney the grifter who came out as gay but when that did not gain enough traction he has started this absurd paraody?
We don’t have to role play because we are women. Why does he have to parody women?
Most women , and I include myself do not 'prance' around in role play outfits, a la Audrey Hepburn and Jackie Onassis Kennedy.?
He is bl**dy ridiculous. Women wear trousers Dylan, it's not all about 'the old time movie star glamour'.

I just find it so creepy how he refers to himself as a "girl" and joining the "girlhood" you're a fucking grown man, why not say "woman". It's all very creepy to me
Dylan is a washed up twink and mediocre theatre actor. He is peaking many over the trans issue though, which at least is something.I *personally* believe that some people are born with genuine gender dysphoria and require help to become the gender that they feel they “are”.
I do understand that this is a hugely contentious issue, and I don’t believe that this phenomenon is anywhere near as common as it’s currently being made out to be.
However. I do not believe that Dylan has genuine dysphoria. I believe he is a confused young man who has jumped on a convenient bandwagon to get the attention he desires.
I’m not overly interested in a debate on Tattle re trans issues, i understand that people have widely varying views and experiences and I respect that.
I *personally* believe that some people are born with genuine gender dysphoria and require help to become the gender that they feel they “are”.And what is an 'actual trans woman?'
