He always looks like that to me. Someone needs to have an intervention with him.
The way he was shaking his head around made me cringe - surely it would be painful to do this so soon after surgery? Even if he's still on "good" painkillers to numb the pain I wouldn't have thought it was advisable from a recovery point of view.Something doesn’t really add up with this ‘surgery’. If you’ve had a full on rhinoplasty don’t you get a lot of bruising for several weeks, black eyes and such? Also I’d have thought whatever jawline stuff he had done would have needed quite serious recovery time but he’s dancing around like nothing much happened. Seems odd to me.
I think it is just a shadow on his leg. But he looks emaciated, his arms are like twigsI took a screenshot of this because his right leg looks so weird. What the hell is going on with it?

This is where I start to feel uncomfortable about this and conflicted. I do not like the grift, the LARPing, and the denigration of natal women. But looking at Dylan, bodily, he is clearly unwell - not nourished properly and it's got worse since all this started. It reminds me, sadly, of my ex-boyfriend who came out as MtF trans whilst we were together but had anorexia. He is/was actually AGP and not trans.I think it is just a shadow on his leg. Occasionally and he did a bit in that beauty podcast. I think he gives the impression they are conservative and were a bit confused with the type of boy he was.Does he ever talk about his family? I wonder what his relationship is like with the people who’ve known him the longest? THAT would be an interesting conversation!
I'm sorry this happened to you, it must have been awful for you and very upsetting to see someone you care about being in such turmoil. This is where I start to feel uncomfortable about this and conflicted. To me, Dylan looks like he did, and acts in the same way - though my ex-boyfriend wasn't quite as ostentatious (and didn't do social media) but was obsessed with his image, looking at himself and taking selfies dressed up as a woman. Unfortunately, he also looked like a malnourished man with chicken fillets stuck on his chest, wearing a frock. It never works and it isn't convincing, but I think Dylan really needs an intervention, like others have pointed out. This will not end well.
"also my first bodyguard"I took a screenshot of this because his right leg looks so weird. What the hell is going on with it?

Thank you so much for this! Really appreciate your supportive words. I think in the same way women fly under the radar with autism diagnoses - men can fly under with EDs too. This just proves it.I'm sorry this happened to you, it must have been awful for you and very upsetting to see someone you care about being in such turmoil.
Men can be obsessed with their body image and suffer eating disorders, my ex partner (male) had previously suffered with anorexia.Thankfully he was not AGP.
In my opinion AGP and trans are mental illnesses, I feel some sympathy for people who are so unhappy but I can't see that dressing unconvincingly as a woman, taking hormones or having surgery, or asking others to refer to you as the opposite sex can help matters.
I doubt Dylan Mulveney or other TIM's would agree with this though
I couldn't agree with you more, and your analogy with anorexia is spot on, no one would affirm their ED with someone who has anorexia - yet this is what happens with trans identifying males.Thank you so much for this! I think I’m inclined to agree that AGP/Trans are mental illnesses that are often triggered by life events.
But with the trans movement it’s all about rushing to affirm the transition. With what other mental illnesses do we do this?
If someone turns up at the doctors with anorexia - the health practitioner doesn’t say “completely agree, you need to lose weight or control your eating more to get the body image you want” they try and find ways to heal the person and make them see food isn’t the enemy.
Dylan seemingly says ‘I’m a girl’ then next thing he’s affirmed, had hormones and FFS and it’s all seen as totally normal…no-one seems to look into the root causes of where it stems from, or what could be done to help alter the patients view of themselves so they feel more confident in their own skin.
Exactly right!I couldn't agree with you more, and your analogy with anorexia is spot on, no one would affirm their ED with someone who has anorexia - yet this is what happens with trans identifying males.
Dylan Mulveney has only been saying he's trans for a year, and he's lauded for this, meeting Biden etc, he's now moved on to surgery
Absolute madness...
Take care of yourself, I hope you've moved on to happier times in your life
I totally agree. ‘Gender non conformity’ as they call it nowadays was not invented by todays youth and is not as edgy and controversial as they think it is. Like you say it was being done years ago yet no one waved flags or wore badges or cared about what pronouns were being used. We were more free then than now. We have regressed and my generation (40’s) are mostly being told what to think/say/do by pre teens. And instead of telling them to do one, we are indulging them and ‘affirming’ themI wonder when society became so obsessed with squishing people into gender boxes? When I think back to being a late teen in the late 90s LOADS of the guys in my friendship groups wore makeup, fluffy jumpers, ridiculous boots that made you 6" taller. It was quite normal. Not a single one of them ever suggested they were a girl and nor did anyone else? Most of them were straight men. They just wore what they pleased. Likewise the young women lived in combats and DMs (still with the loads of eyeliner) they weren't told that these choices were too manly for women...
I disagree with the poster above, men can be pretty and women can be handsome. It's just the way your face is made. Pretty men, slender men, men with small hands and feet, men who like pink and delicate fabrics, men who like fucking men... they're all still men. Who decided that these things must make them women? At what point in the last 25 years did these gender stereotypes become so all pervasive?? The only thing that defines whether you are male or female is your chromosomes. Lego is still lego if you put it in a biscuit tin *sigh*
Men can be pretty and women can be handsome..true. Dylan Mulvaney imo is not 'pretty', not even remotely.I wonder when society became so obsessed with squishing people into gender boxes? Well not any more certainly, but he had a perfectly pleasant young man's face before he went all Buffalo Bill on himself.Men can be pretty and women can be handsome..true. Dylan Mulvaney imo is not 'pretty', not even remotely.
Having said that beauty is subjective.
GenZ.Who decided that these things must make them women?
Especially with how hostile a lot of people seem to become when detransitioning is discussed by anyone who was formerly part of the trans community. The only option is to wait for popularity to fall or disappear from the public eye - the latter seems like a dumb choice because there are so many benefits and $$$The thing is Dylan has had so much attention and praise for his transition that there's literally no choice but to continue

The thing is Dylan has had so much attention and praise for his transition that there's literally no choice but to continue. You can't turn back if you have had millions of people and the president of the USA praising you and supporting you. Bearing in mind less than 2 years ago they were dressing like a man with obvious stubble
Dylan was a failing actor, now he's meeting the president. I don't know if he's AGP, I think he's just a massive attention seeker and is getting most attention anyone could ever dream of
Also videos of Dylan before they transitioned he just looks so much happier. So much calmer, so much less manic. So much healthier in terms of weight, glowing skin and just a general radiance that he's lost.
Essentially Dylan is just a man, acting as "woman dylan" but with no concept of what its like to be a woman. He has become a caricature of woman and now there's no way back. I doubt he even knows what his actual personality is anymore, or why he began.
