Anyway, I’m not surprised he’s decided to travel. Surgeries like the one Dylan just got are considered “no big deal” a lot of the time on trans forums, probably so as not to discourage others from going down the same route.
Doctors who operate on trans identified people are known for kicking them out of hospital and into hotels mere hours after their surgeries leaving them to fend for themselves, even after more serious procedures like penile inversion (happened to jazz Jennings). It probably contributes to the high complication rates trans surgeries have.

Things Dylan has said that kept haunting me - the excitement over wearing a bra for his non existent breasts. Just no I feckin HATE wearing a bra, my boobs are big and no matter what bra I get they are uncomfortable, annoying and bloody expensive. Every woman I know feels the same way. The fact he’s taking hormones (apparently) to grow horrible little fake breasts is quite frankly beyond me. Wearing a bra is a necessity for women as it is painful not to. It’s a total fetish to him which honestly makes me want to vomit

The other thing is him saying he ‘absolutely can’ be a mother. How fuckin maddening is that? I struggled with fertility issues before getting pregnant so this is a sensitive issue for me. But NOONE HAS THE AUTOMATIC RIGHT TO BE A MOTHER. Especially not biologically (and mentally unhinged) MEN. Sorry but my mind keeps coming back to him saying that and I actually find it really upsetting. Even women would not dare say ‘I absolutely can become a mother one day’. As it is not a given in life. And you know he doesn’t mean adoption. I would bet he’s already frozen his sperm and will use an ACTUAL WOMAN to be the surrogate. Of course he will! Maybe Gaga will carry his baby? And he’ll be the one that poor baby calls mum

Same for me. I only wear bras at work because I would be criticized if I didn’t (had happened to colleagues…). I have suffered from endometriosis and I suffered from adenomyosis until I got my uterus removed.

They did a live stream where they talked about it - Walsh wasn't kind enough, yes okay he was factually correct but he shouldn't have been so...factual? because facts can hurt poor widdle feelingses.
Walsh replied, pointing out they referred to Dylan as 'she' in the stream.
And it was off!

Matt Walsh pisses me off on many things but he is dead right here. Being kind is not always what people need. If I look awful in an outfit I wanna know before I leave the house in it, not find out when the pictures get released.

What MW said was the unvarnished truth and Dylan is currently swimming in the seas of people telling him what he wants to hear. But those celebs will not be there when this trend passes and he's left with constant surgical complications. What Walsh says here echoes what many detransitioners have described. The pain of being neither one thing or the other, of having destroyed what you were in the attempt of trying to attain something you could never be. I'm sorry this happened to you, it must have been awful for you and very upsetting to see someone you care about being in such turmoil.
Men can be obsessed with their body image and suffer eating disorders, my ex partner (male) had previously suffered with anorexia.Thankfully he was not AGP.

In my opinion AGP and trans are mental illnesses, I feel some sympathy for people who are so unhappy but I can't see that dressing unconvincingly as a woman, taking hormones or having surgery, or asking others to refer to you as the opposite sex can help matters.

I doubt Dylan Mulveney or other TIM's would agree with this though

I think I’m inclined to agree that AGP/Trans are mental illnesses that are often triggered by life events.

But with the trans movement it’s all about rushing to affirm the transition.With what other mental illnesses do we do this?

If someone turns up at the doctors with anorexia - the health practitioner doesn’t say “completely agree, you need to lose weight or control your eating more to get the body image you want” they try and find ways to heal the person and make them see food isn’t the enemy.

Dylan seemingly says ‘I’m a girl’ then next thing he’s affirmed, had hormones and FFS and it’s all seen as totally normal…no-one seems to look into the root causes of where it stems from, or what could be done to help alter the patients view of themselves so they feel more confident in their own skin.
