I’ve got to be careful about how I word this (there’s a reason I don’t go near the gender discussion thread 😳) so please bare with me if this comes across as a bit weird.
I think the reason people, including myself, are angry about the whole ‘Dylan/Nike’ thing is because it’s just such performative allyship. Dylan FAMOUSLY doesn’t fucking exercise, or eat well etc, so why the hell should they get to be the one to advertise sportswear? They know nothing about it. They couldn’t tell me if that sportswear is good for actually exercising in, because they haven’t got a clue.
There are actual trans athletes they could have used, who would have been able to speak about how well performing the athletic gear is, but I suspect they weren’t even approached because of *asthetics*. Picking Dylan meant that Nike have almost ‘played into’ the idea that to be a trans woman you have to ponce about in girly frocks all day, which couldn’t be further from the truth. And so it all just comes across completely performative and fake.
No. Women are angry that a man has been chosen to advertise a sports bra. I couldn’t care less if he exercises or not. He is a man.

I’m glad there’s a thread about this fucking twat.
I don’t want to get into ‘gender politics’ here (hopefully!) but I absolutely detest Dylan because they never ever acknowledge their ABSOLUTE fucking privilege.
Dylan has never had to slowly transition whilst working a 9-5 and being talked about by their colleagues. Dylan has never had to fight with HR, practically begging for a new name badge at work. Dylan has never had to come to terms with the fact that their transition could take 10+ years. Dylan has never had to work a minimum wage job, knowing that they could never in a million years afford to save up enough money to have any sort of surgery.
Imo, Dylan has set the trans cause back SOOOOO much, because all they seem to do is twat about in a pink frock, practically cos playing as a 1950s housewife, and because they’re sO qUIrkY everything is just handed to them on a silver platter making it look as if being trans, and ALLLLL of the problems that come with it, are a cake walk.
Overprivlidged fucking theatre school kid.

Like I said, it really isn’t that deep. I just hate Dylan ✌🏻
I love Dylan.

I love that Dylan was invited to the White House, because he decided he was a woman. A feat no woman has ever achieved either before or since! He piqued women all over the world.

I love that Dylan's days of girlhood series (that seems to have stopped) offended and piqued so many women to the reality of the trans shit show.

I love that Dylan has offended so many women, he has become untouchable and is now toxic waste.

I love the fact that woke companies hiring Dylan now get boycotted and lose billions in profits.

I love the fact that his game is so utterly transparent to the majority, that with every word spoken, he piques more and more people to the trans shit show.

I love the fact that Dylan's ego is so huge and needy, he went on national TV and revelled in Drew Barrymore standing on her knees before him, a clip that went viral, piquing more and more people globally.

I love Dylan being filmed not liking a man in his space, again piquing people to the irony that is the trans identified male entitlement and ego.

I love the fact that corporate America (Inc the White House) couldn't believe their luck when a seemingly pleasant, educated, not-too-seedy-past WHITE man came out as a girl AND based his look on all American 1950's housewives! Previously there had been Laverne Cox (Black), Page (Clear mental illness and female), Caitlyn Jenner (Not woke and too old), Michaela Jaé Rodriguez (Black), Tommy Dorfman (fucking weird) and a few others but none quite fit the 'sellable' mould required for the final push. Then, along came Dylan. Women were immediately offended but women don't matter - Or didn't matter until we protested by not buying the products he promotes and this is ALL ABOUT MONEY.

I love that Dylan has been over exposed and with every move he makes from now on he will continue to pique people more and more, day by day.

I love Dylan doing the work of terfs for us.

I love Dylan.

It’s not polite. It’s part of the wholesale gaslighting of society that the gender juggernaut relies on to hoodwink people into accepting that men can be women.
Yep. I’m done being polite. Women are taught from birth to be nice, to be polite, don’t offended etc. fuck them. I’ll call a spade a spade. And he is a man.

Absolutely THIS. I think this all the time. The ‘ally ship’ only seems to work one way. You don’t see them championing abortion rights for example, without mentioning that trans people MUST be involved in the conversation, as of saying women is somehow the worst thing you could do. An obsession with centering themselves at every turn. When actually as women, we need as many actual real allies to fight the shite that’s thrown at us all the time. But nope, it’s all about the trans.
You won’t see a trans woman standing with women - their struggles are clearly more than our own ( I am being sarcastic here) 🙄🙄.

They will never fully appreciate what it is like to be born a female. They will never understand what it’s like to have your first period. Learn how to use a tampon. To cope with hormones which affect your skin, your mood , random hair growth on your face , mad cravings at the time of the month . To experience crying hysterically to being so angry you could gouge someone’s eyes out in the space of 5 minutes. Than to have to act as a calm and collected girl or woman.
they will never experience how difficult it is to get women’s issues taken seriously by medical professionals ( periods/ reproductive problems ) anything that is specifically female basically.

They won’t stand with any woman because the don’t understand what it is to really be a woman.

Still can’t get rid of the stubble!
The stubble 🤣🤣🤣 man it must be a chore shaving all the hair on his body especially his legs. He’s always showing off his manly calves 😜 Lucky if I can be bothered with shaving below the knee. But then I’m just a normal woman that doesn’t totter about in huge heels and mini skirts every day. Come to think of it, I can’t remember the last time I wore a skirt or dress. Maybe I’m a man? 🤣

Now tattlers will you excuse me while I go clean my house, take care of my child, cut the grass, run after my elderly mum, take painkillers for horrible menstrual cramps, go out a walk while it’s still daylight and plan and cook dinner. Just a day in the life of an actual woman. All while wearing jeans and trainers and f*ck all make up. I’ll check back later. Love ya’s!

I have absolutely no regard for Dylan’s preferred pronouns of she/they as he is quite clearly a man who is, as we say up here in Scotland, AT IT. He is having a good laugh at everyone who has been sucked in, and is laughing all the way to the bank!

I’m also too old to mince my words when it to comes to the lunacy of gender ideology. It’s not hate to speak the truth and state the obvious. I’ve no time for pussy footing around. I’m not going out my way to be rude, but I will call a spade a spade. Dylan is the very definition of a gaslighting MAN.

Oh my god. Has anyone seen his latest video? He talks about how he’s a lesbian now and when he eventually has a vagina he’s going to have a baby…he says his dad asked him who the woman is who he’s going to impregnate and he says “oh, no, no, no dad, she’s going to impregnate me”. Also talks about how he went from straight, to bi, to gay, to non binary, to trans, to lesbian. He is insane.

This has to be a joke though. He. Has. No. Boobs 🫣🤔 I have bigger boobs and buy sports bras. I want to see models on the bigger side wearing these bras to give me confidence they will fit well and do the job. They say representation matters. And it does. So show the women who need the sports bras - women with actual boobs!! It’s not that hard. Even real women with very small boobs I don’t think need a sports bra (I have a couple of flat chested friends who have told me they are glad they don’t need one as they’re expensive). So who is Dylan representing here? Absolutely no one!
I’m a double d cup and would dearly love a decent sports bra. For Nike to use a man with no breast tissue to flog sports bras is a massive insult.

I think Bud have really missed the mark with this one. The demographic of Dylan's followers surely cannot be potential bud drinkers? I expect they are mostly teenage girls? Bud's core market will not like DM one bit.

I find it so incredibly insulting that someone can be lauded for being a "girl" when they have experienced nothing to do with being female.

Has Dylan ever sat in lesson and worried about bleeding through clothes due to a heavy period? Worried about getting pregnant? Worried about not getting pregnant? Has he walked home alone unafraid? Has he ever asked someone to pretend to be his boyfriend so that he can get rid of some unwanted attention? What has he experienced?

Nike get men to advertise sports bra (probably a lot of money) with non existent breasts, yet they cut the pay of their actual female athlete sponsor when she got pregnant (only females can be pregnant, Dylan). So they punish the actual woman for pregnancy but the man LARPing as a woman gets all the attention and coin.

The comments on his page, why people fawn over him is beyond me. I simply don't get it. He always wanted to be famous and couldn't cut it, this was his avenue to fame. I won't be convinced of anything otherwise.

Feeling uncomfortable when someone gets in a lift with him is the nearest thing to a woman’s experience Dylan has ever had. Welcome to actual “girlhood”, Dylan.

Dylan constantly wearing that Burberry suit reminds me of a Simpsons episode where Marge finds a Chanel suit and keeps altering it so she can be keep the respect of the wealthier women.

It also feels like Dylan is purposely trying to piss women off. He surely can see how mad it is that he’s advertising a product he has no need for when there are women with bodies other women actually have, who have lost out on a deal with Nike. He knows women will be annoyed but he seems to gravitate towards those things, like banging on about tampax for our ‘barbie pouches’ 🤢 at what point does anyone care that women are OFFENDED by him? Or do only trans peoples feelings matter? Because we are all supposed to tiptoe round what we say and do when it comes to trans people but the same consideration is not given to women, in fact we are called names for voicing it. Imagine an actual woman advertising a binder, even though she didn’t use one herself. Or better, a man using a binder I should say. 🤣I can just hear the outrage now.

I’m sooooo happy there is a thread on this gobshite. Cannot fucking stand him. Literally playing a girl for fun and suddenly he’s been paid a fortune to be the face of women’s brands. When did you ever get a fucking period Dylan? Did you ever have to go through the pain a woman has to? Prancing around in designer clothing and flouncing in a bath like that’s what women do all day 🙄 he completely infuriates me. And I reckon he’s not taking any hormones either. He’s acting like he’s trans when in fact he has no intention of fully transitioning. It’s all to get endorsements and money and get close to celebrities.
