I hadn’t realised she was the only Emirati in Dubai Bling, thanks for clarifying. Sara Al Madani did RHOD fhough (are there any other born and bred Emiratis on reality tv I wonder ) so yeah she isn’t the first Emirati reality tv or even a star, I mean there are a million gorgeous girls from that part of the world better known. How do you even claim to be a ‘star’ when you only get 5mins here and there on a show lol

Interesting that Danya thinks so highly of herself when there are others so much more known and successful.

The culture really is beginning to fascinate me. I’d only ever seen Dubai through the very narrow viewpoint. It’s like a while new world

A couple of these still seem off to me. Older Loujain’s house was like a palace, surely that alone would be worth several million easily, maybe much more (she apparently was on mic for the wedding of 3 princes of Dubai not that long ago too, surely she’s raking in a huge amount of $$?)

And again younger Loujain seems so be worth less than you would imagine the ex wife of a BIlLLIONAIRE (especially when the first 2 wives got so much in comparison). But maybe I’m wrong and she was just happy with a tiny fraction of what they got

a million dirhams can buy you a modest 3 bedroom house in UAE and in pounds that’s roughly like £250,000 give or take. But a lot of people rent to because it’s not like renting in England where you have a tight arse landlord who won’t let you do anything to a property. People rent homes there for years and years and years like it’s their own property. Plus there’s a lot of family money and generational wealth out there so I wouldn’t bother trying to speculate too much on how someone affords stuff.

So they are all likely to be millionaires in Dhs that’s for sure.
Except for Danya and Safa…..their husbands are millionaires.

But also don’t get it twisted this is mainly expatriate culture they are showing. Emirati people are typically very private and would never think to air this kind of laundry in public. They would never find enough Emirati people to take part in such shows that’s why there’s only a couple who are willing to basically make asses out of themselves in public

It's hilarious isn't it. However, I hope Kris Fade and his wife aren't involved... didn't see the point in them at all.

He makes me feel a bit queasy with his oily long hair and constant showing his arms in sleeveless shirts that look so tacky.

Wasn't he married to this Greek lady from Australia (mother of his kids) and now she is married to a Libyan Arms dealer?

Like others have mentioned already, I was surprised that the houses generally weren't more opulent. Kris Fade's house for instance looked incredibly ordinary from the outside - nothing special at all. Zeina's office in the 'fight scene' also seemed tiny. It wasn't reflective of her supposed position? I wonder though if the coffee throwing incident was all scripted (no doubt) and she didn't want it filmed in her real office? One thing that I didn't like was the women deciding to trash the apartment that Safa had been given and was going to rent out. It showed them to be spoilt brats (As did I guess the rest of the show though lol)

From his insta it’s SO obvious this is not a straight man. I get his culture and religion make it hard for him (and that’s putting it lightly) but I can’t believe he’s been married three times now. Sad.

Reading his current wife is an MUA perhaps it’s just good PR and she knows he can help her work out some good deals?

He’s literally the gayest man I’ve seen in Dubai. He’s not even hiding it because look at how he behaves, moves and dresses. It’s such a big joke.

I actually feel a bit for Ebraheem. Must be difficult not being able to live your full truth. But I do like him, he’s so dramatic and brings the heat to the show

It was hilarious looking back on watching him pretend to be straight on the first episode on his date.
No Khaleeji husband is gonna be ok with a friendly man calling his wife his ‘bestie’ so it’s obvs the cast know. Danya basically got what she lacks in Bliss in Ebraheem, someone who writes her love letters and is emotional with her

Zeina may be the Queen of Versace but Ebraheem is just a Queen so sassy

It certainly doesn't apply to Ebraheem. Nothing cheeky, lively or spirited about him. He's a grade A stirrer with total bi**hy tendencies and he is as camp as a row of tents. Cannot stand people like him, only happy when they are causing trouble.

I think Bliss and Danya are very mis matched, right down to the way she dresses, like that mauve outfit that she does her piece to camera. She looks like the mother of the bride, satin, too much bling and hair up. He looks way younger than her.

yeah I agree but I did understand where she was coming from when she was trying to have a heart to heart with him. She must be sick and tired of having Dj Bliss when she just wants Marwan at the end of the day to be normal with. The guy is constantly in his Bliss hosting mode, it’s very grating. At least with Kris Fade you see him being Kris Fade the radio host and then Kris Fade the….fiancé and his real self (which is nothing special) Brianna is so lovely I dunno what she sees in him. It’s painful to watch, she can do so much better.

Ebraheem lived in the US with his mum as a kid so am sire he’d have US citizenship, or at least be eligible for it through her? I’m also wondering why he doesn’t settle back in America if he’s gay, or is he just going to live some sort of double life to please his mother and marry a girl she likes?

Apparently he was the only child from that marriage who chose to go and live with her in the States and she had very little money. Dad was wealthy.
